HOA Management Simplified

Opmerkingen: My initial experience with PayHOA was a little challenging but I quickly caught on to how everything functions. Some Board members wanted to engage another more established company but the cost and support from the large corporate firms can't compare with the support from PayHOA. This was the best choice for my 300 unit HOA community. I'm so pleased that I paid for the full year with a discount.

Pluspunten:

PayHOA was free to setup and use for the initial 30 days. The software team was readily available with 24 hours notice to link up and explain any functions. I had a few enhancement requests that were implemented within a few hours. The PayHOA team always responds to my email requests within 24 hours and they are available to work with me on my schedule. I couldn't be more pleased with their service.

Minpunten:

There is not a lot of draw back issues with PayHOA. I've been using the software for a few months and everything is going great. I did have some issues looking for the ability to print individual invoices as they don't appear on the owners unit menu. My software consultant was able to quickly show me where to find the PDF print function.

Pluspunten:

I love the ease of use for my team and all of the homeowners we work with. If we ever have an issue they are quick to respond and fix it. Great with explaining how to fix issues in case we come across them in the future we know how to fix it for the homeowners.

Minpunten:

Some of the reports do not give an accurate reporting of collected dues.

Not credit card friendly, does not download the banking information that would provide usable information and make reconciling easier

PayHOA is Amazing!

Pluspunten:

As a management company, we love their ease of use for our team and our clients. They are very communicative with our team when we have questions and solve issues within a very short amount of time. We have been a partner with them for years and will continue into the foreseeable future.

Minpunten:

There isn't anything that we do not like about PayHOA. There have been a few things over the years, but they have been fixed by updates, etc.

Good service, but customer service slipping

Opmerkingen: Very, very good to start; not so good of late. Hopefully things will improve. Maybe Pay HOA is getting so large that they don't have time for little clients like us. I hope not. they were very good people.

Pluspunten:

Good price, great set up, easy once one understands how to use it, attractive interface for residents

Minpunten:

I use to get timely responses to the few questions and requests I had. Great people, great heal. Lately, this statement is not true. I have a simple accounting statement request outstanding now for nine months. I have customer service requests in for over a month and no answers with hardly a response.

Not a satisfied customer

Pluspunten:

Affordability, however you pay for what you get.

Minpunten:

Cancelation on their pdf mailer. They say you have 5min to cancel, however there is no option for you to cancel as the user. So, if I'm working late I need to make sure that I wait the following day to contact them just in case I need to cancel. And that's if they pick up due to the coronavirus. Unfortunately, I have already committed with my HOA to this software. If that wasn't the case I would go to tops.

Anyone can do it! The portal is super user friendly you can teach yourself the basics! The support team is one of a kind and rare to find these days! They answer questions within minutes of inquiry!

Property Management Made Easy

Opmerkingen: As a first time property manager a few years ago I was looking for a software that was simple with lots of great benefits. Pay HOA checked all of the boxes I was looking for - easy accounting & reporting, online payments, homeowner database, easy invoicing, budget creation and so much more. I love that HOA board members can be granted access to view reports and budgets.

Pluspunten:

I like how I can streamline HOA dues with their associate fees. It then is put on autopilot and sends out monthly invoices as well as late fees if applicable. I can create an entire years worth of invoices and PayHOA takes care of the rest.

Minpunten:

I wish the website feature was less expensive. Having a property website linked to PayHOA would be amazing, but once again costs are the reason for not integrating a current site.

HOA Review of PayHOA

Opmerkingen: PayHOA solved our work order issue with a system that allows owners to submit a work order and allows the users to track them.

Pluspunten:

I was looking for a software that incorporated work orders, accounting, communication and maintenance tracking. PayHOA offered all of these features. The software is easy to set up, although it could use more customization options. It is more than sufficient for what we need. Homeowners can pay their fees online and it is deposited directly to the bank.

Minpunten:

It could use more customization as well as an area where admin could store owner documents and information internally.

PayHOA is a great product, but could use some more tweaking

Opmerkingen: Overall the payHOA system works very well and is easy to navigate. I have made use of it for over two years now and homeowners seem to like it as well. My community is small and we have not made full use of some of the features, but I am glad they are there to use when the time comes that we do use the features

Pluspunten:

It is easy to navigate around the website, and its intuitive so I can give someone admin access to the site and within a few hours they have a pretty good feel for the site. This makes any training needed for more specific things easier to do and get through.

Minpunten:

The Invoice system still needs some work. Would like a way to filter out late fee separately from normal Invoices. It would help to also have a quick way to see the houses that are late on paying dues on the main dashboard. I also feel the site permissions need to be flushed out a bit more. I would like to assign mass permissions to most but would prefer to filter out specific people. It would be nice to see a way to drop specific home owners into groups and then be able to assign or remove permissions on those groups

PayHOA is awesome!

Pluspunten:

We selected PayHOA for management of our small HOA in an active adult community. Since our residents are all seniors, it was important that the interface was easy to use and the PayHOA system gives us that. The ability to have our residents see their accounts, submit requests for maintenance, landscape or architectural changes, make payments online is great. On the administrative side, our Board can send out broadcast emails, create surveys, create invoices and respond to requests easily. The support we have received throughout our set-up and release has been stellar.

Minpunten:

The accounting reporting side of the PayHOA system has a couple issues, but again the support we have received has been great.

I have not found a con with PayHOA because it is so user friendly.

PayHOA for HOA management

Opmerkingen: Easy implementation. Good automation of ongoing management tasks. We brought HOA management in-house, saving management fees. A volunteer is able to perform the management and financial activities with minimal time required.

Pluspunten:

Easy to implement. Automates most of the HOA management activities that we once paid an outside firm to perform.

Minpunten:

We've been pretty happy so far (21 months).

Small Sub HOA

Opmerkingen: We are a volunteer HOA board made up of residents from the neighborhood. Anything that makes that task easier is great and PayHOA has delivered in almost all aspects of the job.

Pluspunten:

The financial tools are perfect for an HOA of our size (36 homes). The request tools make it very easy to manage the typical needs of an HOA. The custom reporting capabilities generally meet our needs.

Minpunten:

The People view needs some additional flexibility. It would be good to give residents the ability to see contact info, without visibility to other residents financial status.

Decent option for managing an HOA

Opmerkingen: Overall, PayHOA is a good low cost option for small HOAs that are managing the HOA without assistance of a property manager.

Pluspunten:

PayHOA makes it easy to manage and maintain HOA membership, ownership, and communications. It also provides an easy location to upload, manage, and maintain documents making paper files a thing of the past and making it easy for the membership to access documents relevant to the HOA.

Minpunten:

It's not as easy to export certain data as I'd like it to be -- sometimes I need to manually build out information because I can't include it in an export (like permissions and tags), and finding how to export data is less intuitive than it could be.

PayHOA fan

Opmerkingen: We are maintaining our own books and records now. We previously used a management firm.

Very easy product to use with great support!

Minpunten:

Needs more options in reports, like emailing vendors from the portal or adding custom fields to email or reports. Takes a while to get a change implemented.

PayHOA for a 4 Unit Condo in Puerto Vallarta Mexico

Opmerkingen: It has been great as an HOA Fee invoice and collection System.

Pluspunten:

I have only used the Invoicing and Payment module. It is easy to use and has a lot of functionality.When the developer turns over the building to us in November/2023 I look forward to using all the other modules. The biggest challenge will be integrating a Mexican bank into the System. Otherwise PayHOA handles Pesos just like they are dollars, in fact the symbol for a Peso is $.

Minpunten:

How can we make it handle a Mexican Bank? This is not a Con because PayHOA was not designed to operate in a foreign country. There is a simple way to trick the system into accepting a Mexican Bank, even if we don't use any functions, e.g., taking payments or online vendor payments.

Mill Pond HOA

Opmerkingen: Major time saver.

Pluspunten:

Pay HOA minimizes the amount of checks I have to take to bank.

Minpunten:

The filter options cannot be saved. This is a major time waster when going through searches. Columns can be customized but the second you click on a link, the filters are gone.

The payment processing module. This automated a very tedious manual process.

I can not think of anything I don't like.

Outstanding Substitute for a Property Management Company

Opmerkingen: PayHOA has been a bleesing to us to allow us to manage our own HOA without having to contract with an expensive property management company.

Pluspunten:

Allows us to keep all of our important HOA documents all in one place. And it allows us to keep track of our homeowners and their yearly assessments.

Minpunten:

Nothing in particular. All features that we use are perfect for our needs.
