Fantastic Ticketing Tool

Opmerkingen: TIcketSpice has saved many nonprofits I've worked with lots of funds by the lower fees they charge compared to other ticketing systems out there.

Pluspunten:

TicketSpice is an incredible ticketing app I recommend to nonprofits all the time to use. TicketSpice makes it easy to create ticket registration form pages as well as confirmation emails. Their rates are much cheaper than Eventbrite's and they have some additional features for nonprofits that outweigh Eventbrite.

Minpunten:

Although you can customize your registration forms, there are parts of the form builder that can feel a bit dated. Some of their templates could use a bit of updating.

Small company service with better than big company product

Pluspunten:

My experience with TicketSpice is that they want to partner with my business - they want me to succeed as much as they want to succeed. I know that's a bit of 'business speak' - and I've worked for Thomson Reuters, IBM, etc. so I know the lingo. But with TicketSpice this has been my actual experience. We switched from EventBrite to TicketSpice and have not remotely regretted our choice. They worked with us to customize our whacky ticketing tiers, their rates make everyone happy (us, our customers) and when I reach out to them, I feel that I am heard.

Minpunten:

I would say that the only downside to TicketSpice is it's reporting. It's pretty static and the user interface is not streamlined in a way that makes managing whackey ticketing tiers easy. That said, I can easily get all my data out in excel and then manipulate on the back-end. I do wish the reporting was more dynamic.

Not great customer service for customers with transfer issues...

Opmerkingen: Awful. There is no explanation about how ticket transfers work. And then customer service doesn't even try to help other than tell you to talk to event organizer. But could have at least explained how transfers worked on their site. Or anything other than I can't do anything. Also the "transfer" is misleading and false. It doesn't really transfer. It makes the person you "transfer" to pay for the ticket and then supposedly will refund your money. But nowhere in the screen where you can "transfer" your ticket does it explain that. So its misleading and misrepresented and the customer service never even attempted to explain that to me when I inquired or that if the recipient didn't claim the ticket within the 7day window it would come back to me. The minimum information that they could have told me but refused to. Overall POOR customer service.

Pluspunten:

Being able to log into site and see tickets in system.

Minpunten:

The customer service refusing to even try to help me with transfer issues. Just kept saying there was nothing they could do or even explain how things worked.

Last year we did it all old school (I schedule personal animal encounters) and it was all based on customers filling out a form, I call them back to schedule a time slot, send an invoice, repeat calls to have them pay invoice, call back for event reminders, and then follow up with email. It took a LOT of time and effort and we missed so many opportunities (I feel) since we could not secure their interest right away. With TicketSpice, it is eliminating HOURS of my time each week and I feel it will increase our sales since it will be a timely decision for interested parties. TicketSpice made it easy and affordable to increase our revenue while giving me back time to work on other projects. All in a very professional looking platform. Everyone I have worked with at TicketSpice is pleasant, friendly, encouraging and fun!

Pluspunten:

Once I understood the concept (I have no background in programming or setting up something like this) it was pretty easy and fun! The templates offer many different scenarios so we easily found one that would fit our business. Best part in setting up....the support! Every time I had a question that I couldn't find the direct answer for in the set up steps, I used the chat feature and was connected right away to someone who took the time to understand what I was trying to accomplish, laid out simple directions and explanations to achieve that and in some cases even sent a quick video snippet of how to do it. I worked with [sensitive content hidden] a few times and he built my confidence in building this platform. Now I am seeing the benefit with using TicketSpice in other areas of our business.

Minpunten:

I wasn't sure where or how to start. The overview videos I had found were very general and quick. Then I found the Help Center and started working my way through those steps. Once I found this, I felt like I had a roadmap of how to proceed.

Opmerkingen: I used TicketSpice for a charity event and had an amazing experience. Purchasing tickets, tracking payments, adding donations, refunding tickets, and checking people in on the day of the event were all straightforward and intuitive.

Pluspunten:

TicketSpice had a great product that was easy to use, had a very reasonable processing fee, and had excellent support, both documented and direct support staff.

Minpunten:

None. I compared TicketSpice against many of the other popular ticketing companies and they offered the best rates without any loss of functionality or support.

Opmerkingen: Extremely pleased, customer service is a text away, they’re helpful, real people. We can get good data, test out coupon codes in different advertising campaigns and see what our ROI is. I thought it would be hard to get customers to adopt, but they are!

Pluspunten:

It’s easy to use, I even can customize pages easily. There’s so many features, getting add ons, merch, opt ins etc. it’s helping our business sell tickets easier than ever.

Minpunten:

I wish there was a landing page with all of our upcoming events and people can just visit one page, see our touring schedule and buy accordingly.

Helpful Ticketing Software

Opmerkingen: Overall, I've had a good ticketing experience with TicketSpice. The software is very user friendly and the customer service is relatively quick and very helpful. I do prefer to use it more for events that we are preselling tickets rather than onsite ticket sales, but I've managed both successfully through this platform.

Pluspunten:

Ticketspice looks super sleek on the front end and has a lot of design options. I love the variety of ticketing options, and once you learn the software, it is super user friendly on the backend. There are a ton of customizable features that help make your event ticketing process a success.

Minpunten:

The reporting isn't the best. While it's nice to be able to customize some reports, the system is missing a lot of basic options that most other softwares have. I often feel like I'm having to do a ton of searching and manipulating to locate basic fields.

Opmerkingen: Timely and very helpful. Used graphics and videos when necessary, to guide me through the questions I had. I waited to do a review until we experienced the important functions. Ticket sales are going smoothly and feedback is positive. Deposits are regular and according to what was promised.

Pluspunten:

Pricing was reasonable, Help was fantastic and timely. I was able to customize event in so many ways. Response from users has been positive. Access to money raised prior to event was a must. Weekly deposits are a bonus.

Minpunten:

No complaints so far. Have only been using for a couple of weeks.

TicketSpice will not let your down!

Opmerkingen: We only hold events December through March or April, so this not a continuing thing for us! Most of my time is spent entering everything over the course of about 30 days. Since I do all the ticketing for our events, there's always a learning curve to the start up. We've been using this software for three years now and it certainly gets a little easier as time goes on. Again, having the online chat available almost 24/7 does make like easier, especially when in a jamb!

Pluspunten:

We use the software for about 30 days to design our events for the season. We're located in southwest Florida so season is December through April at the most. We don't get into any web-designing so being able to build an event from a template is so much easier for us. Adding in the various layers of tickets, fees, and donations, truly gives us our needed flexibility. Being able to set parameters with the timing of sales or number of participants is also a great feature. Two features we will be looking at more closely is communication with participants and attendee ticket scanning.

Minpunten:

Using the software for a just short period of time per year and not knowing the many nuances to the software can be frustrating to sometimes figure out. One of our biggest concerns is for our live stream events and people sharing their email with the access information. This is something that is not necessarily easily figured out and I'm not fully confident it's been recorded properly. However, my chats with customer service have put me at ease that everyone should be able to access these events without a problem.

I love TicketSpice! Our non-profit hosts a variety of event-based fundraisers from a traditional fundraising dinner, to silent auction, to crawfish boil, to sporting clay shoot - so flexibility is of extreme importance. Here are a few of the PROs for TicketSpice: - Extreme customization (example: for our Shoot, we need not only a ticket purchased, but we need to know what gauge of shells, what type and size of shirt needed, etc. many custom pieces of information with each registrant). - Simplicity to use - Speed to create and publish - Ease of integration into current website - Retention of organizational identity/image - Flexibility in coupon codes, etc. - OUTSTANDING customer service! - Great cost when integrated with GivingFuel (which is ALSO AWESOME) I used EventBrite for several years, but it was clunky to use (old technology), it never looked like it belonged with our website or other materials, and it was expensive. I was so glad when TicketSpice became available with GivingFuel!

Minpunten:

I honestly have not run into a CON with TicketSpice. It does everything I need... and probably has capability to do more, but I don't know what that could possibly be.

Immensely better than Eventbrite!!

Opmerkingen: I signed up for TicketSpice for my conference website (www.LifeschoolingConference.com) after comparing a lot of different options. TicketSpice seemed to offer the most flexibility for the price and I also was really excited about the social networking options. I loved the idea of incentivizing my customers to share my event for an additional amount off their ticket! I was hesitant about the .99 fee TicketSpice charges per ticket, since the other option I was considering was a free Wordpress plugin, but it's still cheaper than Eventbrite and it has been well worth it! I just added a $1 fee per ticket, so in the end, I'm not really paying anything extra besides credit card processing fees. The flexibility of the program has been amazing! Unlike Eventbrite, I am able to set up my basic tickets, but then I can add what they call "actions" to create variables for each ticket. In other words, I have two basic tickets for my conference: Single and Family. But we also have a fair on Saturday after the conference. It is free for attendees, but others can also sign up just to come to the fair portion. I added actions so that when someone selects the Single or Family Ticket, they see the fair ticket with a $0 price, as well as an additional Speaker Luncheon ticket option. But if they select the $15 fair option at the beginning, then the single and family tickets disappear and the Speaker Luncheon option also remains hidden. Not possible with Eventbrite! Also, I have set up early bird, regular, and late tickets. With Eventbrite, I had to do each ticket for each length of time separately. It was confusing and time-consuming! With TicketSpice, I just created an action for each ticket. The coupon codes are also nice because I can add actions so that they can only be used in certain instances. For example, I had a Cyber Monday sale, so I added an action that the coupon could only be used on the specific date of November 28th. Worked perfectly! Finally, the customer service has been outstanding! I worked a lot during Thanksgiving week, but my questions through chat were always answered in a timely manner, even on Sunday...pretty important since one of my actions would have resulted in giving away all my tickets for free instead of only the first three sold! Ryan was so helpful and encouraging and even sent a video showing how to do what I needed to do. Can't say enough good things about TicketSpice!! Happy enough to take the time to write this long review! :)

Solid ticketing platform with low fees

It would be great to have a rolling window of date availability for ongoing events. Otherwise, the software works great.

Anything that I would want to produce online tickets has been implemented by TicketSpice. The thought and care is outstanding! Anytime I need assistance, support is ready to help. I have peace of mind as our events are about to happen to know that I will have an up-to-date back end data available as well have the ability to communicate with users who have an issue!

Minpunten:

Personally, NOTHING. As I stated earlier, the team at TicketSpice continue to improve this product.

Best web-based option for all your ticket sales needs

Pluspunten:

Create and customize virtually all aspects of free or paid ticket sales. Ticket spice allows you to choose how many customers per ticket, which is helpful when selling a table with multiple seats. Ticket spice also has GREAT customer service with their live chat features.

Minpunten:

Ticket spice is very similar to another webconnex product, regfox. It is difficult to know when to use which option but regardless, is a great product.

Opmerkingen: The only problem we were solving was line ups. Going to an on line ticketing platform will eliminate the line ups and also us to allow only a manageable number of people on the farm at a time

Opmerkingen: I was very hesitant on using any type of event software, so I did a ton of trial and error with other free-trial software options and did my fair share of research prior to committing to purchasing anything. The customer service team has been awesome - all of the representatives are extremely kind, helpful and are all very knowledgeable on anything I have questions on!
