Deze online diagramtoepassing maakt het eenvoudig om professionele diagrammen te creëren en te delen.
Being cloud based give lucidchart a leg up on some of the other diagramming programs i've previously used. It integrates easily with confluence which is important for my documentation.
The Lucidchart layout feels a bit dated, like something a decade or two behind times. However, being this is the most frustrating thing about the software, I'll take it.

One of the best softwares in market for creating flow diagrams
Opmerkingen: Overall, I will highly recommend using Lucidchart for creating and sharing your flowcharts or diagrams. It is an extremely customizable and flexible tool with a lot of integration options. Though it doesn't have many cheaper or smaller plans, however, for enterprise level, this is one of the best diagramming tools available.
Lucidchart is specifically designed to create flowcharts like business process models, data flow diagrams, organizational charts, sequence diagrams, architecture diagrams etc. I love its feature set and integrations as compared to other diagramming tools like draw.io or Microsoft Visio. As it is an online web application, it allows multiple team members to collaborate and contribute on the same diagram in real time. You can leave feedback or comments on any object and attach notes.Lucidchart has plethora of options for different flowchart shapes, objects, lines or pre-built templates, which eventually saves up a lot of your time.
I don't have many negatives about this software but one major limitation with Lucidchart is that there is no desktop app available, so you will always need to use it in the browser. Also, sometimes when I am moving the objects, the lines/connectors/links between those objects mess up completely and I end up doing a lot of readjustments.
Reliable diagramming tool
Wide range of templates for free.Real-time collaboration for team projects.
Mobile app may not be as feature-rich as desktop version.
Just a great tool professionally and personally
Opmerkingen: Helped 4x my income. I was able to communicate more, by saying less. This allowed C-suite leaders to quickly “see” what I was “saying” without having to utter more words than were necessary. My value to clients and companies exponentially grew by adding this tool
How quickly I could get other teammates to start using it and start integrating in into their work. I even got my family to start using it for planning vacations and holiday travel and logistics.
I love video games and some of my favorite RPGs start of in a “learning island” or “tutorial mountain,” Lucid had a “throw you into the pool” kind of onboarding and I would have liked a little more guided entry. It’s not a flaw and 90% of the time, I would prefer the “pool” approach. That said, there were lots of tools and tutorials that I reluctantly went back to once I realized I needed more training 🙄
Streamline Your Diagramming and Data Visualization with Lucidchart: A Comprehensive Review
Opmerkingen: Overall, Lucidchart is a versatile tool that combines the functionality of multiple software packages in one place. It is suitable for diagramming, process flow documentation, information sharing, planning, mind mapping, and many other functions. While there may be a learning curve for more advanced features, the software's capabilities make it a valuable tool for both personal and professional use.

Cons:- Learning curve for advanced features- Limited data integrations
Quick and easy diagrams for more efficient work thanks to LucidChart
Opmerkingen: Even though I didn't work with this tool very long, I liked the ease with which I can create diagrams and share them with other members of my IT software management team. As well as the ability to collaborate in real time with them and the built in templates and shapes which were very helpful and saved us a lot of time creating diagrams. In summary, I think LucidChart is a valuable tool for any IT team that needs to create and share diagrams quickly and efficiently, and I would use it again without hesitation.
Throughout the time that I have worked with this tool, I must emphasize that it is an intuitive and easy-to-use tool, it gives you the facility to create an infinite number of diagrams in a matter of minutes. However, what I liked the most about working with this tool was the ease with which I was able to integrate it with other tools that I used while making diagrams in it, such as: GoogleDrive and Slack.
The only negative point that I must highlight about this tool is that it has certain functions that some new users (like me when I started) are not completely clear about and the possibility of taking full advantage of this tool may be lost.
Why has Lucidchart become the favorite tool to create diagrams and workflows?
Lucidchart is an online diagramming tool that has gained popularity thanks to its intuitive interface and its wide range of functions. With Lucidchart, users can create various types of diagrams, such as flow diagrams and mental maps, and can take advantage of numerous pre -designed templates to expedite the creation process. In addition, Lucidchart integrates with other popular tools, allowing users to work as a team and collaborate in real -time projects. In summary, Lucidchart is an efficient, safe and easy -to -use diagramming tool that is an ideal option for anyone who needs to create diagrams quickly and effectively.
Lucidchart can be expensive for users who require their advanced functions. Also, your learning curve can be difficult for some users. Although it has many templates and forms available to customization, it can be limited, which could be a problem for those who need very specific designs.
LucidChart: Streamline Your Software Engineering Process
Opmerkingen: Very helpful tool for engineers when it comes to visualizing intricate software structures. It is a fantastic option for collaborative tasks involving numerous team members because to its simplicity of use and adaptability.
You can easily design flowcharts, UML diagrams, ER diagrams, and more thanks to its simple interface. Collaboration with team members is made simple by its interaction with well-known cloud storage services, and you can simply share your diagrams with customers and other stakeholders thanks to its sharing options.
LucidChart's limited customization possibilities for diagram components are among its main flaws. It is also challenging to migrate from other diagramming tools since it lacks the ability to import diagrams from other software.
Reliable software for diagramming purposes.
Opmerkingen: Lucidchart is an invaluable tool that I use to create process maps and diagrams to effectively communicate my ideas to team members. Its extensive library of templates and its cloud-based design have significantly expedited my process map creation process, eliminating the need to start process maps from scratch, while also being able to edit and collaborate on design documents in real-time with my peers, regardless of their physical location.
Lucidchart's intuitive interface is one of the reasons I enjoy using it. I believe that anyone with prior experience using diagramming tools can quickly grasp its workings without any formal training. The user-friendly shapes and templates make it easy to create diagrams, and I appreciate the ability to convert my Lucidchart maps into multiple file formats. Additionally, the revision history feature is incredibly helpful.
Due to its web browser-based nature, I often encounter some delays while creating or editing large diagram documents in Lucidchart.
Easily th best Diagramming tool
its ease of use. its very user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to draw erd diagrams, flowcharts, and other great things. The drag-and-drop interface allows users to quickly add shapes, lines, and other elements to their diagrams.you can create simple flowcharts to complex network diagrams. Theres a wide range of templates, allowing you to get started quickly and easily.
Theres less tutorials on youtube on how to use some tools if youre new to it but finger crossed i know they will make them
A nice platform to use for your wireframe, mockup tasks
Opmerkingen: This is on of the good tool to use for all your wireframe, mockup works. I still use this for my simple tasks for workflow, process and wireframe works. Some of the features are not available since it requires a paid subscription. The platform is getting revised with lot of new and useful features and I hope it's going to be a best one. May be one day this can be an alternative for Photoshop ;-)
It's a cloud based software and quick to access. We can access it via our gmail id as SOS login. When it comes to feature, there are some great options which I like most. Like the layer option is a pretty good feature and it reminds me the Photoshop software. Though it's not a sophisticated feature but a nice one to have for this kind of software. The other thing is Lucidaspark, its looks more classic and spacious. The drag and drop option, multiple export file options are the few best features to name.
I can't arrange the layer as a whole. It always allow me to arrange the elements within the layer and not the layers itself. For ex., I have 3 layers where one of the layer is a background image which I want to push behind the 2 other layers which is not possible if I create the background layer last. This is something frustrating for me to fix.
Lucidchart, a platform to create ideas, document processes and increase agility in the organization.
Opmerkingen: Lucidchart is a spectacular tool, which has grown through its own concept, aimed at streamlining the process of creating ideas. In general, diagramming in different areas or specialties is very well received by engineers, designers, administrative staff, and managers, and its application is very wide, so it becomes a great technical support to make our processes flow more quickly.
Its interactive and agile design is one of its greatest advantages since it does not require at all to spend time learning to diagram, work collaboratively or use the tool's functionalities. It has a high degree of usability and allows us to make almost any diagram, among them we can mention: UML diagram, iPhone/android mockups, workflow diagram, flowchart, org chart, data flow, kanban diagrams, and much more. Its integrations provide us with functionality to work collaboratively in environments such as MS TEAMS and its adoption in the organization is fast and intuitive.
Lucidchart is great at what it does. We may try to ask for more of its scope and in many cases, it will not disappoint us, however if we are looking for a sophisticated design application that has powerful functionality related to specialized rich text fonts, color palette registration, a grouping of objects to create custom libraries in a project, to name a few examples, we are going to need to evaluate some other option, but if what we want is to work in agile and collaborative environments, Lucidchart is undoubtedly one of the best options today.
Amazing tool to create flowcharts
Opmerkingen: It has been a great experience with Lucidchart overall. We are able to create and discuss the flows and processes in highly efficient manner using Lucidchart. The team's productivity has increased and delivery cycle has also shortened.
Lucidchart helps create effective flowcharts in a convenient manner. This enables brainstorming among the team members and we can arrive at the best possible flows and solutions. Lucidchart also allows to replicate and easily modify the flowcharts and diagrams for quick iteration. The flows in Lucidchart can be easily copied and pasted to documents and presentations.
The customisable templates for creating various flowcharts need to be more discoverable . There's no suggestion to improve the flowcharts in Lucidchart which can be very helpful. Sometimes the flowcharts can't be pasted into documents which is an issue. There can be features to better manage the flowcharts in folders.
Diagramming is easy on Lucidchart
Opmerkingen: Lucidchart is web-based, intuitive, intelligent, reliable software for making diagrams, flowcharts, organization charts, gantt charts, mind maps; also allows to linking data to shapes. Lucidchart works on any environment whether windows, mac, or linux even it may be used online. It allow collaboration, import data or diagram, export diagram; it has rich library of shapes.
Lucidchart is web-based therefore work can be done or accessed from anywhere, it is easy to use. Importing and exporting data and diagram is simple. It has vast library of shapes and templates, it allows to modify template according to your requirements. Arrows can be easily used, it provides option to jump arrows, layers may be used for better diagramming.
While working in a browser, you can only create charts; web application cannot work offline. Some templates are not easy to use but tricky and need time to understand. It provides insufficient icons and not allow to search icons externally, icon cannot be resized as well. You cannot arrange the layer as a whole.
Great Software for Marketing and Development Teams
Opmerkingen: I have been very pleased with Lucid chart and have brought it with me in the last 3 jobs I have been at. Its always on the top priority of my software list.
This allows use to easily share and visualize workflows, wireframes, and user stories with all the team members involved in a project.
I haven't really found anything I don't like about LucidChart I have been very happy with it.
Lucidchart: The Best Diagramming Software
Opmerkingen: Overall, Lucidchart is an excellent diagramming software and offers impressive features at a very reasonable price. For its ease of use, sharp look, and great value, I would wholeheartedly recommend Lucidchart to anyone who needs to create a diagram.
Lucidchart is definitely one of the best diagramming software out there and it is very beginner friendly. This is shown in the fact that 99% of the Fortune 500 companies use LucidChart. There are countless templates to choose from that look professional and clean. The web app is incredibly responsive and smooth to use, which can be experienced when resizing and moving elements on a canvas. The user experience is really good all around and the user interface is straightforward and intuitive. There are also mobile apps available which is useful to have. Not only this but Lucidchart also has great collaboration features that allow users to work together on a diagram in real time. Moreover, Lucidchart has many keyboard shortcuts to make work a lot more efficient and fast. They are quite conventional among diagramming software so it took me very little time to learn. There is also a layering feature in Lucidchart which intuitively allows you to create diagrams within diagrams. In diagrams, there are also smart diagrams which keep your diagram clean and tidy.
Lucidchart does not have any desktop apps which may be a disadvantage but the web app can be used offline and is as fast as any desktop app. Also the customer support is not great as other competition and there is no easy way to contact the support.
One of the most innovative diagramming collaboration tools out there!
Opmerkingen: The business problems I've been solving with Lucidchart is to create process maps and value stream maps to clearly outline the detail so that it is easy for developers and designers to glean from. It allows me to add a lot more perspective and content so that critical details don't fall through the cracks. Excellent for real-time collaboration and to even have brainstorming sessions.
The features I like most about this software is the easy set up and I can get going right away. The quick virtual tour is very helpful when it comes to knowing all the different available features. Collaboration is awesome in real-time. Excellent customization available. I have my own template sets and custom shapes that I use most often saved to my favorites. I have also categorized it my diagram type and project type. Lucid just allows you to configure anything you can think of and that is what makes it super powerful. Version history feature and status label on the diagrams comes in handy to track revision control as well. Layers are one of my favorite features because it allows to showcase multiple views of a diagram without taking up too much real estate and is so easy to show/hide based on user preferences. The different ways to share and collaborate like publish links, pdf, png, hyperlinks etc. are super useful to share and collaborate on documents even if the feedback giver is not proficient with Lucidchart.
The community is not very helpful. The moderation of the community can be better and it would be nice to have specific channels than one open community as most of the content I see there is irrelevant to me. Notifications are easy to miss and doesn't really catch your attention. It's not possible to share folders within a Team Folder which is constraining because then I have to share the whole workspace with someone that I don't want to just so they can access a specific folder or file. Permissioning is tricky as it works sometimes but doesn't work other times. I have to do some extra manual work to pretty up the diagrams and make it fit the canvas all while the content can still be read and visible. It would be nice if that was automated.
Using the Suite Almost Every Day
Opmerkingen: Love it and love how easy it is to use and get people connected to procedures where they had no idea how their inputs or outputs affect the overall motion of activity.
It is so simple to get in and start creating documents. You don't need much experience at all and can find a wealth of information out there on getting started. Its ability to export in PDF is great for those folks who don't have access. The other nice part about the export is that you can embed links into the document which those users can then click on to go to internal sites, knowledge articles, or program/project locations
Sometimes presenting complex flows can be a challenge where you have multiple parties acting on a process. In other words, as you progress left to right, or up and down, you lose site of who the actor is titled in this swimlane. If the 'cells locked' or if a floating key could follow you as you present that would get everyone on board much faster.
Beats Vizio Hands Down!
Opmerkingen: I am responsible for projects that are needed to enhances processes for my department, and Lucidchart has made this a million times easier than it was when I used Vizio. I also have to create the process flows for my staff, and again this has made my life so much easier, and given me a lot of time back in my which is simply priceless!
The ease of use, and pre-made templates for all things 'flow' are phenomenal. I used to use Vizio, but Lucidchart is so much easier, and intuitive, to use. I use for everything from org charts to project/process flows - have even used to make a floor plan for our department.
There is nothing I have come across yet that would be a negative from me. I have used templates from almost every section and have others throughout the organization using it now too.
It enables us to create stunning diagrams & Org charts with clear details and relationships
Opmerkingen: Lucidchart has made creating diagrams of all kinds, especially workflow diagrams and organizational charts, very simple. It's great that with Lucidchart we can collaborate as a team to prepare charts, which ensures that we include all the details we need.
I like that Lucidchart provides a lot of collaborative features, allowing team members to participate in making workflow charts, org charts, and much more that we need, and the easy-to-customize ready-made templates help us get the job done smoothly. I particularly like how Lucidchart handles organization charts because we can specify the number of sub-levels, add all of the organization's employees, and link them to the line officials within the departments by the proper functional relationships. We can also add their photos, write their names and job titles, and add links to easily access the member's job history. It's also great that we can make more than one sub-organizational chart and connect them directly to the main one. This lets us clearly explain a lot of details.
Everything in Lucidchart is structured and easy to use. I thought at the beginning that coordinating the sizes of the different components and linking them to one other on the board hard affair, but with practice, it turned out that it is pretty simple.
Opmerkingen: Overall, Lucidchart is a great diagramming tool that is well-suited for a wide range of use cases. While there are some missing features, the tool is still well worth considering for anyone looking for a user-friendly and collaborative diagramming solution.
Some of the strong points include:Intuitive interface: It has a simple and intuitive interface that makes it easy for users to create and edit diagrams.Wide range of templates: Lucidchart offers a wide range of templates for flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes, and more, making it easy for users to get started with their diagrams.Collaboration: Lucidchart has robust collaboration features, allowing multiple users to work on a diagram simultaneously and see each other's changes in real-timreal timerations: Lucidchart integrates well with other tools such as Google Drive, Confluence, Jira, and Slack, making it easy to work with other teams and applications.Mobile apps: It has mobile apps for both iOS and Android, making it easy to create and edit diagrams on the go.
However, there are also a few features that are missing from Lucidchart that could make it even better:Limited customization options: While Lucidchart has a wide range of templates, customization options are limited, making it difficult to create diagrams with a unique look and feel.Limited export options: Lucidchart currently only allows diagrams to be exported as PNG, JPG, or PDF, which may not be suitable for all use cases. No version control: Lucidchart does not have version control, which can make it difficult to keep track of changes and revert to previous versions if needed.
Critical for illustrating ideas to my team.
Opmerkingen: I am using Lucidchart to graphically illustrate and explain operational marketing ideas and strategy to my team. Lucidchart makes the process of creating workflows and process diagrams a lot easier and inclusive by making it possible for groups of people to work in real time on process diagramming, making our process diagrams as effective as possible.
Lucidchart is completely browser based and the first benefit of this approach, is that I am able to use Lucidchart across all devices , regardless of their operating system. Lucidchart allows real-time authoring, which helps my team work on critical workflows and process maps as a group , enabling comments and real time chatting , to improve the quality of interaction in the process of building flowmaps.
Lucidchart's obvious weakness is with the fact that it is completely web based. This makes the program very much reliant on the internet to function. Though, Lucidchart supports offline use, there is a big disparity in the quality of what I can do while connected to the internet on Lucidchart and what feature I am permitted to use in offline mode.
It's the clear leader in this space
Lucidchart just works. It's simple, obvious/intuitive, and makes communicating super simple. I love the ability to quickly make new diagrams, succinctly communicate, share, print, etc. Even training new team members to use Lucidchart is super simple - new engineers may not fully understand the value, but they quickly see it.
The look and feel of Lucidchart outputs is pretty generic. I wish that the look and feel could be more polished for larger audiences - there are other softwares out there that show/present similar diagrams in a more polished look/feel. That said, that's minor. Lucidchart does exactly what it says it's going to do. One big request/wish: I wish Lucidchart had an API that would build diagrams programmtically. Yes, Lucidchart has an API, but I specifically want to hand it PlantUML commands (or something similar) from RunTime code that would quickly build sequence diagrams, class diagrams, system diagrams, etc. But alas, that is entirely missing.
