Better than DocuSign!

The feature that sets HelloSign apart from the competition, especially DocuSign is the unlimited envelopes (documents) you as a user can send out in a year.

Minpunten:

Feature that would be good to have is to be able to replace the underlying document once you are in the preparation phase of the document and when you have already set the 'fields or text boxes' in the document, so that if you notice there is a misspelled word or something that needs to be changed you can simply upload a 'corrected' version and keep all the 'fields or text boxes' in the place where you already had them. It would help save a lot of time especially if you are working with longer documents collecting initials from each signer on each page.

Seamless Integrations for Document Signing

Pluspunten:

We've used HelloSign for almost two years now after switching from another electronic signature software, and HelloSign has been perfect. Not only do we use it for our internal HR and hiring needs, but we also have HelloSign integrated into our software so that our customers can sign their contracts without any issue. HelloSign offers reminder emails and also sends completed forms to all parties. It's so easy to use and maintain and super customizable. Love it!

Minpunten:

I have never had any issues using HelloSign, but I am not on the team that integrated it into our internal software. I am not sure how technically difficult that was, but we have rarely encounter bugs.

Dropbox Works for Me

We have everything in one place and it is secure in the Cloud so I can access this from anywhere.

Okay product, but absoutely the worst customer service

Pluspunten:

Initially (several years ago) the user experience of this software was better than most, back when Docusign was the only game in town. We chose HelloSign based on that. Today that's no longer the case and there are many products with a better overall UI and user experience (UX), like PandaDoc.

Minpunten:

The product support for HelloSign is absolutely the worst of any SaaS (cloud-based) document signing product available today. I'm not sure if it's the result of DropBox acquiring them and trying to save money, or what but if you have the option to choose a solution like this go with PandaDoc or even Docusign.

Convenient Electronic Signature Tool

Opmerkingen: Our experience with Dropbox Sign is quite positive. It is easy to use and our clients and internal team members rarely experience problems signing or sharing documents.

Pluspunten:

Dropbox Sign allows us to upload, share, store and request clients to sign conveniently under one platform. Electronic signature helps keep everything formal with our clients and employees. It is simple and straightforward. It is one of the few tech solutions that does exactly what it is designed for with minimal issues.

Minpunten:

There is nothing I don't like about this electronic signature solution. However, I feel that the price may be relatively high for individuals or small companies.

Great product

Pluspunten:

It's reasonable price compared to other e-signature platforms. The ease of the system and being able to create templates to reuse are great.

Minpunten:

Not being able to replace a document with a new file if the parties have not opened the original file yet.

Simplistic

Opmerkingen: My partner jokes that my desk is so clean because I never use it and that isn't far from the truth. I use my steering wheel desk more. Thanks to Dropbox Sign I can continue to get work done regardless of where my "office" is that day. Built in storage with Dropbox is convenient if you choose to use it.

Pluspunten:

Simple enough to understand and use, has everything I need for basic contracts. The entire process is relatively quick.

Minpunten:

Anything that has been sent out can't be amended, even if no-one has signed yet.

Excellent e-signature solution

Opmerkingen: For my minimal e-signature needs - only a few documents a month - this is the perfect solution. It's extremely easy to use for both me and even the unexperienced recipient.

Pluspunten:

Extremely easy to use, affordable, with great audit trails. It sends messages to all signatories with alerts to sign the document and reminders if the document remains unsigned after several days. All users are notified and sent a copy when the document is fully executed.

Minpunten:

Biggest drawback for me is lack of a Microsoft Word add-in to upload/sign directly from Word instead of having to log into the website and upload. Other solutions offer this solution and it would be a great timesaver if added.

Hub for Signatures

Pluspunten:

A fast an easy tool for signing document in a secure manner.

Minpunten:

It is an amazing product but the price might be a little on the expensive side.

Best product I've used so far

Pluspunten:

Very easy navigation, not expensive. If you need help, customer service is always available.

Minpunten:

Free trial was offered to my company and after it, my company signed the agreement.

HelloSign is the perfect solution for Realtors

Opmerkingen: Overall, HelloSign has filled a gap for our company where other competitors missed the mark. We used DocuSign for many years, but due to pricing and integration capabilities with our management software, we selected HelloSign

Pluspunten:

As a real estate development and management company, it is important to be able to clients and partners with documents for electronic signature. Being able to view, sign and complete the process (and repeat) is important for creating efficiencies and growing.

Minpunten:

The one main drawback I've seen so far is that templates are not able to be edited during a send. If I need to change one field for a unique reason, I would have to create a completely new template. Also, there is no way to edit a document after being send (prior to anyone signing). It would be nice to be able to make amendments to a document (and recirculate to signers) instead of having to recreate.

Hello...SIGN! An Electronic Signature Alternative

Opmerkingen: It's been a great experience using HelloSign. My company was able to save money by switching to this platform and it has great usability. It's been really great using this product! I highly recommend HelloSign.

Pluspunten:

I like the user interface on this product. It's very user friendly and easy to navigate between functions. I also love that there is the ability to create template and template links. The template links are a great option so you can share in bulk or don't want to type an email address in each time you send the same form to someone.

Minpunten:

I don't like that there isn't a good customer service function. It's hard to get help and you have to contact the company via email.

Pluspunten:

I use it primarily for the e-signature. This allows me to quickly send a contract to a customer and have them sign it the same day instead of waiting for the US Post Office.

Minpunten:

I wish the templates could be presented in PDF format instead of the question/answer format. I tried using the template but felt more like a Google form than the PDF I had originally designed.

HelloSign review

Opmerkingen: we are able to utilize an electronic signature, saving a significant amount of travel and time.

Pluspunten:

we are able to send lease/contracts/documents to our new tenants/workers/colleagues, electronically. we are able to store a template and not recreate our lease every time we need to utilize it.

Minpunten:

we are unable to change the document once it has been sent. we are unable to change how many signers to a template. CUSTOMER SERVICE is foreign and NOT organized. nor easy to communicate with - NO LIVE interaction - only email available & apparently they are located on the opposite side of the earth from my timezone. VERY FRUSTRATING

Great value and great product

Opmerkingen: We use HelloSign for all of our contracts and change orders. We love that we can get them documents to people quickly and have electronic, verified signatures.

Love the ease of use of the software. Very intuitive and easy to use.

There is nothing that I don’t like about this software. Would like to possibly be able to edit documents once sent instead of having to delete and send new.

HelloSign Review- Used Daily

Opmerkingen: We have to have contracts signed in order to do our day to day processes so having the ability to sent them through this system, and be able to afford to do so, makes the process a 1,000 times faster and has increased our production and minimizes the redos we have had.

Pluspunten:

We were using a different product prior to switching over to HelloSign but that one got way too expensive. When we found this product it was exactly the same processes and detail only at a rate that us as a company could afford. We loved this so much we even brought another of our friends over to the product as well!

Minpunten:

It would be nice it we could resend documents to customers through the mobile app, that would give me the ability to literally work from anywhere at any time but it is still better than anything else we reviewed or looked at purchasing

Invaluable Product

Opmerkingen: We used a different product for a while that was inferior and we felt was much harder to use. Absolutely no problem with using HelloSign for our online document signing program. We have legally binding documents without the extra public traffic in our offices.

Pluspunten:

Our office is a Property Management Company, managing over 400 privately-owned rental properties. We first started using HelloSign during the early days of the Pandemic. Our office was shut down for a month at the beginning of the Pandemic. We opened back up to employees, but not the public, a month later. We were closed to the public for at least 6 months. HelloSign was invaluable to us during that time. We were able to still do our job for our owners using HelloSign to get signatures on new leases, renewals and additional required paperwork from both Tenants and Owners. Without it we would not have been able to conduct our business. Even though we are fully open for business now, we still use it for renewals so tenants don't have to make the trip to our office to renew their leases.

Minpunten:

I cannot really think of anything I don't like about HelloSign. It is extremely easy to use and our customers seem to find it easy to use as well.

Revolutionized our sign off practices

Opmerkingen: HelloSign is absolutely instrumental for my team (business development). We execute a number of agreements on a daily/weekly basis, and HelloSign makes the process absolutely seamless. It is 100% worth the cost.

Pluspunten:

I entered the workforce 10 years ago. The company I worked at was a heavy deal and sign off company, and I was constantly running around the office with a manila folder and a pen to get signatures from everyone I needed. If I lost my document before getting the 10 signatures I needed, I would have to start all over from the bottom of the chain. If HelloSign existed when I was an assistant, I would have gotten so many wasted hours back. HelloSign is a product that I will not be able to work without from hereon out. I was introduced to it in my current position, at the very first moment that I had to sign on boarding paperwork. I fell in love almost instantly. HelloSign allows you to prepare one digital document for execution by as many people as needed. You can set the order that people sign, insert fields for them to type in pertinent information, and send out the document with a few clicks of a button. It is legally binding. I can't write enough about how amazing HelloSign is. I have literally never had a negative experience with it. I wish I could use my business account for everything -- signing leases and personal documents would be a breeze with this thing.

Minpunten:

There is nothing that I don't like about this software. I'm struggling to think of something that frustrates me -- ah. Here's one: sometimes, when you upload a contract and there's not enough height on the lines, it's difficult to create signing fields that don't overlap. But, to be fair, that's a problem that can be fixed with us.

Good value for the money

Pluspunten:

Ease of use and accessibility to the database of stored documents is excellent.

Minpunten:

The uploaded database "forgets" emails of uploaded clients very regularly, even from an adjustment between versions of the document... very poor. Also the customer service is terrible. There is no interactivity, only FAQs and being part of a group or team presentation, not actually able to directly answer my questions. I'd give 1 star out of 5.

Mostly love the product!

Opmerkingen: Really good. I have used docusign and Adobe and they both have features I like that hellosign doesn’t have but they aren’t amazing enough for the price.

Pluspunten:

I like how easy it is to use. It’s simple to get documents signed.

Minpunten:

I don’t like that there isn’t an address city and postal Code spot to add in and have to use just plain text. I wish we could reupload a document if it needs changes without having to resend the entire thing in a new document.

Good bet

Opmerkingen: Once you get the hang of it, it's good. It does what I need an e-signature service to do.

Pluspunten:

Similar in feel to the "big guys" in the industry, without the giant price tag.

Minpunten:

Initially, it's not intuitive. I don't like not being able to see who I sent the document to under the Documents tab, without extra steps, as we send similar named items to multiple contacts. I don't like not being able to preview or print the signed document in a browser and having to download it to print (or at least, I cannot find said functionality if it exists.)

Not recommended for anything sales related (user of 2+ yrs)

Minpunten:

You can't edit templates without creating a new templateYou can't create pretty visuals Its hard to collect payment after signing Its not easy to see a single dashboard with the summery information you need for each contract. It lacks very basic features that would streamline the process. Practically no integration with hubspot. They say their is integration but the integration is essentially a link that directs to you their website.

Opmerkingen: We've also been saving paper as we no longer have to print the documentation for it to be signed. It's ecofriendly as it is saving time and resources.

Pluspunten:

The platform is easy to use for all parties involved. We're able to see if and when the documentation has been viewed or signed. At the same time, the documentation is available to be accessed and signed anywhere at any time on any device, without it having to be printed.

Minpunten:

Nothing at all! The platform is straightforward enough for anyone to navigate.

Fantastic E-Sign COmpany

Pluspunten:

We enjoy all aspects of HelloSign. It's very easy for people to open and sign documents and love how easy it is to resend any documents that have not been signed.

Minpunten:

I wish there was a way to make it so email addresses did not save in your account. No matter how many times I clear the data and choose to not save, it continues to try and autopopulate from emails we've sent documents to.
