The Hire Talent helps our company find good people for good people.

Pluspunten:
The applicant tracking system keeps our applicants in an order of when they applied, per company they applied for. I am able to tract which applicants were sent assessments and which we deemed not qualified. I appreciate the ease of use and how helpful the Hire Talent associates are when I need assistance.
Minpunten:
There is nothing I feel that needs to be improved.
Wish We Used The Hire Talent Sooner!

What I like most about The Hire Talent is the ease of use and the great assistance when it comes to setting up your account. It is a one-stop shop that produces great results.
Minpunten:
The only difficulty we have experienced with The Hire Talent is the AI rating tool not being accurate, just a good reminder to double-check the candidates yourself.

nightmare of websites and lack of info. I most of this is changed with your new platform but still if one test contains several test within it you need to let us know what tests are within the test

We have all of our assessments offered and descriptions of what they cover on our promotional website. The team walked (and still is walking) us through every step of the way, super helpful and knowledgeable and brought up many items to consider that we hadn't thought of in over 30 years of being in business!

I haven't found anything to not like yet, we're still fairly early in the process but so far its been a fantastic experience for me and my team.

The Hire Talent is part of our hiring process. Their % chance of success predictor is consistent.
Opmerkingen: We use their software assessments to assist in hiring decisions. We have learned the hard way when we don't follow our benchmarks it can come back to haunt us.
Pluspunten:
It helps us make solid hiring decisions. We have a minimum benchmark score for applicants. We can also consider areas of importance such as attention to detail, and whether the applicant is more suited to a customer facing role or a technical role.
Minpunten:
There is a learning curve, but the support is always there to help interpret the results. I do highly recommend.

A Great Service
Opmerkingen: My experience has been outstanding. In every aspect, I am provided with good service. If I have a question, it is answered promptly and thoroughly. I feel as though I have a ready consultant on my shoulder ready to assist and discuss with me any difficult choices that result from the results of the testing. They have this area nailed, and I am very satisfied and content with the system.

The hire talent is an excellent resource and tool to assess potential new hires.
Opmerkingen: I got a better sense of the person I may be hiring.
Pluspunten:
I like the ease of use of the software and the quick and easy set up they help you take care of. I like the quick turnaround times after that new potential hire takes assessment tests. I like the fact that you can talk to staff to get more input on the results of the tests. The entire staff at new hire talent is awesome to work with.
Minpunten:
The only thing I do not like about the software, is that it's not a bulletproof way to hire or not hire an employee. You have to use it as a tool and utilize all information gathered and then make your decision.

I have found great employees through this testing. They don't always score well on the test.
Opmerkingen: the ability to objectively test candidates across a spectrum that is hard to view objectively.
Pluspunten:
I like the breakdown of the candidate's qualities and characteristics. I like how I can get additional feedback and guidance from "The Hire Talent" Staff.
Minpunten:
I don't like the price per test, as I would like to send it to candidates earlier in the interview process but the cost of each test keeps me from doing so.

Pluspunten:
1. Customer support to help educate and analyze candidates. I’m learning my own gaps in knowledge of how to hire people and picking out what I want to know more about specific people. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and his team are very good about teaching this. 2. The testing that gives a whole deeper dive into a person’s personality and ability to tease out information. 3. Automation. If the first two points weren’t well worth the value already, we’ve gotten a ROI just in the automation piece of the process. No more hunting down references and asking them to call back. Great email templates that save time.
Minpunten:
I really want more of structured feature for recording my interview notes and they say this is coming so I am excited to get more into this feature. I would also like a feature to export everything about the candidate from their profile to test results to résumé and one nice PDF in order to upload into their personnel file. They are definitely open to adding additional features and making things as customizable as possible per your organizations needs.

Excellent Quality with Accurate Results

Pluspunten:
The assessments I use give me a realistic view of my candidate and what they can bring to the role I am hiring for. It also helps me see if they would be a better fit for a different role based on their results.
Minpunten:
I have yet to find an issue with the software.
Worth investing in
Opmerkingen: Overall I definitely think it is worth the investment. We've been able to make smarter hires for some critical roles such as sales and customer support. The cost is offset in the long run since there is lower turnover so we end up saving a ton on recruiting and training.
Pluspunten:
We've been using The Hire Talent to administer assessments to new candidates as part of their interview process. The reports we receive provide valuable insight into the thinking process of the new-hire and help us predict how successful that hire could be in that specific role.
Minpunten:
There aren't too many problematic red flags, just a few minor things that come to mind. I think the client portal could use some updating. It isn't the most intuitive interface. Also one the reports, there is a section for "chance of a good hire". These numbers often seem like a shocker compared to how the person had performed on some parts of the assessment, so I'd say not to read too much into that score.

I like that it can be customized and the formats can be changed depending on the specific role we want to create an assessment for.
Minpunten:
Some of the scoring for the personality assessments, I think they arent as accurate and seem to be a bit cut and dry.

Why I like to hire talent

I thought it was easy to use. The service is great. It’s also easy to screen applicants to make sure you find the best ones with very little time span. We screen 15 her applicants a week through the system and it’s awesome

Detailed information was provided to each candidate via excellent tests and thorough interviews of the candidates and references. Our employees hired through The Hire Talent are outperforming all employees hired through other sources. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Good results, but not very transparent
Opmerkingen: Overall, the experience has been good. The customer support has always been helpful when we reach out. However, if the client interface was a little more robust, we wouldn't have the need. We are always encouraged to ask for details about the test results, but my inquiries haven't been satisfied.
Pluspunten:
Overall, the personality tests seem very accurate for evaluating good hires.
Minpunten:
The skills test, primarily the details test, are definitely on the steeper end of the grading spectrum. We have had difficulty getting passing results from a wide range of candidates.

We use a few assessments that provide critical information in weeding out applicants who would not be a good fit for the position we are hiring for or for the company. I know using these assessments have decreased our employee turnover rate.

I am very happy with the software. The only thing I can report negatively is maybe less promotional emails.
