We’re on an annual release (ie once a year). Being billed every month a for something we really only use for two months at most is unfortunate.

VineSpring for Winery Allocation Models
Opmerkingen: VineSpring works very well for small wineries. Their support staff is amazing and prompt!
Pluspunten:
VineSpring works really well for wineries using an allocation model. It also works well with Wine Club organization and facilitation. I have been using it for about 5 years or so and I always recommend it.
Minpunten:
I wish they had a way to upload tracking numbers to orders so that information could be viewed by customers logging into their accounts. Would be a much better level of service for us to offer our customers.
Process friendly, slow on analytics
Opmerkingen: I say the software is friendly, yet what makes it really friendly is its customer service. They are quick to answer and no question is too small for them. Most of the time I can find an explanation on their Help feature, but when I have needed a person, they respond quickly and in a nice way. They are right here in the US and they don't send you around to 10 different people.
Pluspunten:
The software really meets the needs for the process of selling wine. It has several features that allow you to follow the customer throughout the sale. It interlinks with other software, such as MailChimp and Square, which is useful although it can add to the cost.
Minpunten:
I would like to have more flexibility to do analytics on our customer data base. The user should be able to design their own report. I like that you can easily download into Excel, but the way it is organize is sometimes confusing.

Their customer service team is exceptional. Whenever we have a complex issue they are always available and ready to assist and help us learn how to best use their platform. The service functions really well and has numerous helpful ways to help segment and group your customers. Whether it's a club release, or general questions on how to best utilize their service, the VineSpring team understands our needs and is always ready to help.
Minpunten:
We'd love if some of the reporting was a bit more comprehensive. We are able to track things really well with the existing reporting functions, but would like a bit more detail and a few more filters to focus on specific data.

Easy to use, low cost, best customer service
Minpunten:
1) There needs to be a report that can be downloaded into excel to the DEPOSIT SUMMARY to make it easier to account for Merchant Fees, Adjustments & Refunds. 2) The sync with SQUARE into VineSpring needs to be identified as "SQUARE" not "American Express". Since the SQUARE deposits into a different operating bank account it is a time consuming & difficult task to separate SQUARE payment transactions from VineSpring to enter the monthly VineSpring sales receipts and reconcile.

1. Requested months ago the ability to print a "Packing Slip" without pricing. No response. 2. Very problematic that there is no way to record an actual "Dispatch to Warehouse" date. If an order is on hold for a while and then shipped, it still shows only the date the payment was processed.

My biggest problem is when we fulfill wine club the alternative address will not always automatically load so you have to go into every profile that is shipping and make sure shipping address is correct. This is a huge time waste

Pluspunten:
The software is very easy to use and manage. I don't need an administrator or specialist to get things up and running. VineSpring support is awesome.

It does everything our small winery with a robust DTC program needs. Clubs, allocations, and daily orders are all handled at a very reasonable cost. Customer service is excellent.
Minpunten:
Major revisions tend to take longer than anticipated to roll out.

Customer page only lists 3 most recent orders - I wish I could see all orders for each customer at once.
VineSpring program
Opmerkingen: I think VineSpring is a really great company and the potential is endless. The staff have always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable on their product as well as guiding me to the correct answer or process to get where our winery needs to go.
Pluspunten:
Ease of use. This ranges from setting up products on the website to capturing orders. Very intuitive interface.
Minpunten:
What I like least about the software is its 3rd party mailchimp relationship. A two way communication to ensure all people who have ordered online and all people who have signed up for the newsletter would be nice.

Amazing Customer Service and Ear to the ground on customer product needs

User friendly and AMAZING customer service. Debuting a new product that is super cost efficient for a small winery like me that primarily deals in online sales. I have used their product for 7 years now for two brands with different needs and they never disappoint.
Minpunten:
They are in beta of a new product so ironing out the kinks but I appreciate they are putting products together that meet varying customer needs and price points. I can't say enough good things about them.

Great for Inventory
Pluspunten:
The interface is pretty intuitive in V2, I haven't seen V3 yet. It's easy to use for inventory purposes
Minpunten:
Managing customer/club communications through this software and it's integration with MailChimp is not a streamlined process. We can't integrate with our POS so tracking member purchases and inventory that occur in our tasting room is all done after the fact manually
