Highly Flexible LIMS, Full of Features

Opmerkingen: Highly functional, easy to use. Visual workflows make lab management and sample management highly visible and easy.

Pluspunten:

The ability to configure this product to match any workflow meant we could support complex existing processes with minimal change management

Minpunten:

We continually ignored the advice of the vendor for key configuration issues due to internal IT experts, most of which ended up being redone later to match original recommendations

Pluspunten:

The ease of use and configuration is excellent; it was the product that best met our needs.

Minpunten:

Nothing at this time; it has so many positive features we can't really think of what we do not like.

LIMS For A Growing Lab

Pluspunten:

The system is robust - we rarely have issues arise now that the system has been in production for over a year,

Minpunten:

Flexibility - our lab is growing & adding new tests every other month. This system would require a full time developer constantly adding new functionality. It is also very difficult to change current workflows.

Awesome LIMS software

Opmerkingen: Highly recommended to keep up pace with current industrial standards.

Pluspunten:

1. Easy to understand. 2. Results can be entered easily and one can retrieve results as old as you want. 3. Lot of things to learn and play.

Minpunten:

1. Online web version is bit slow as it works on internet. App version is far far better than web version.

I have six years experience using LabWare LIMS as an analyst and as an admin.

Pluspunten:

I appreciate the high degree of customization that the software is capable of. It allows the software to be tailored to an organizations specific needs. It is also extremely beneficial for maintaining data integrity.

Minpunten:

It's cumbersome, report generation is slow and unintuitive. The relationships of tables are sometimes difficult to discern. Small innocuous changes will sometimes impact seemingly unrelated aspects.

The gold standard of LIMS

Opmerkingen: Usage in several laboratories on a global scale is implemented

Pluspunten:

It is the gold standard for a LIMS System and has already several out of the box functionalities which represent state of the art.

Minpunten:

Implementation is relatively work intensive and requires a good preparation. Processes need to be changed.

Pluspunten:

This product is really configurable and in the end we were able to tailor it to our needs.

Minpunten:

As a con, all this customization took a lot of our resources, but in the end it is OK.
