Opmerkingen: Great thing. Happy what we have reached on automazation so far (using the customized fields for our specific needs). And very happy that the alert on minimum quantities was introduced so fast. Looking forward to more improvements.

Pluspunten:

Easy check-in/out, automated emails when low quantity is reached, ability to draw inventory/order list

Minpunten:

reports need to be formatted to excel each time manually. I also need to delete many fields each time manually. Would be great if I could create a template of my customized report and would have it on one click in future. I also calculate order quantity minus stock quantity (enter formula in excel) each time I prepare material order. would be great to have this report automated. Why can I scan codes without logging in? was confusing until I found out (why it was that I was asked if it was my item). I guess there is a reason but does it make sence to be on first level? Your format of labels are only available in US as far as I know...

The order of barcodes that go from the last number given when we need more or when we renew would be great...the cost is higher than we thought it should be

Simple and Easy to Use

Opmerkingen: We are using GoCodes to manage the task of tracking who has a piece of equipment, who had it before them, and what worksite or office is it supposed to be at.

Pluspunten:

The phone app makes it easily accessible where ever you are and doesn't require purchase of hand held scanners. The web poral is very easy to use and should be intuitive for anyone born past 1980.

Minpunten:

It doesn't deal with special characters well. Example: Entering Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ as a model type often ends up with it dropping the + after saving the entry. This leads to inaccurate information being saved unless you go back and correct it until it takes.

Go Codes saving me time

Pluspunten:

I can identify machines on sites when a tech does not send me info. I have found lost units and identified what unit we were looking for.

Minpunten:

Could always have room for more pictures on site Sometimes when searching there is a glich from the search---

Great product & experience

Opmerkingen: Free trial was helpful and helped us decide to move forward with the purchase of the subscription.

Pluspunten:

Easy to add/delete things, very intuitive product (easy to use).

Minpunten:

I wish the customized columns had a "paragraph" type of option so that we would have another area to make notes about the asset.

Lacks necessary functionality and requires technological improvements

Pluspunten:

The bar code scanning feature and mobile app.

Minpunten:

1. Can't attach documents (the alternative suggestion of using links is not a valid solution and puts the work back on the End User). 2. Camera function needs serious improvement (pics are highly pixelated and the auto crop function does not work well requiring several pictures to be taken to get it right.

Ease of adding inventory

Pluspunten:

It is very ease to add each inventory item, and to keep up with the status and info of each one.

Minpunten:

I don't really have a comment for this one.

Gocodes Honest Review

As far as I know, we have not found any cons on Gocodes

Easily accessible way to store information

Pluspunten:

What I like the most is that all the information is gathered in one place, which is convenient. Additionally, it's great that all the information becomes accessible by scanning the QR code. For us, this is fantastic because we often need the information when we don't have access to a PC.

Minpunten:

I wish the assets could have different colors on the map to distinguish between the various types. It would make it more organized. I also find it unfortunate that the text fields (free text under custom fields) don't allow much text.

GoCodes to the Rescue

Opmerkingen: Overall GoCodes is a solid solution to our needs.

Pluspunten:

GoCodes has allowed us to capture more data about our inventory than what was previously being used.

Minpunten:

The reporting feature is very advanced. As a "smaller" business looking for critical information developing our own custom reports requires a learning curve in order to be set up successfully.

GoCodes for Commercial Furniture

Opmerkingen: Fantastic product and very responsive customer service and support. The team at GoCodes made it very simple to set up and provided plenty of support during the onboarding process.

Pluspunten:

GoCodes has been a great addition to our toolset. We utilise it to manage our sample and trial stock across multiple storage facilities and client sites. Our Sales team use it for issuing and tracking samples, retrieving quick information on products and locating samples in storage. Our Operations team use it for stocktaking and depreciation. Its great having a single source of truth which can be updated and accessed by all our mobile phones. We can now ensure we don't have lost samples and saved time in our stocktakes.

Minpunten:

One pain point which isn't a fault of the software is that our storage facilities have poor mobile reception, which means that when we stocktake we take photos of the barcodes and scan them later once we have reception again. It would be great if the app could cache the scanned barcodes then update them once the app goes back online.

Best bang for your buck

Opmerkingen: My experience from the very beginning has been wonderful. Anytime I have needed help, I have received a prompt answer. And this is the first company that I can honestly say took my concerns to the developers and made what I wanted happen.

Pluspunten:

GoCodes is super simple to implement and begin using. I have shown several people within our company how to use the system in the event that I am not available. Training takes less than 10 minutes due to the simplification of the product. I would 100% recommend this product to any small business and even larger ones that are just starting to manage their inventory or assets.

Minpunten:

I would like to be able to use a handheld scanner instead of my cell phone to scan products just because I don't like having to pull my cell phone out constantly.

Great Product

Opmerkingen: Fantastic! We were lost without this and it has provided great structure.

Pluspunten:

Provides ability to apply a GoCode to an asset and create history and details that can be accessed at a later date. For equipment being sent to customers around the world this makes it very easy to track location and details for spare parts and preventative maintenance.

Minpunten:

Sometimes noticed slow access but I believe this depends on internet access and location. Have had the stickers come off in certain wet environments.

GoCodes for construction asset management

Opmerkingen: It's difficult for me to get my field workers on board if they don't understand how to use it, but because Go Codes doesn't provide training materials, I have had to create my own. My rep makes me feel stupid every time I call to ask for help.

Pluspunten:

Expensive tools and equipment get moved around on a daily basis here. Having a tracking system is helping to make that process less chaotic.

Minpunten:

The process of setting up and rolling out this program has been very time consuming. We have had to label every single piece of equipment and tools and now I'm tasked with training the field staff on how to use the app. I asked my rep if there were any already existing training tools (power point presentations, manuals), but they just directed me to the youtube videos that are really only for admin use, not field use. Also, it would be great to have some resources in Spanish since the construction industry has a high volume of Spanish speaking workers.

Functionality of the Service

Useful for product "check out" like a library system

Opmerkingen: It is fast, easy, and functional. I use it to "check out" a product for use like I would at a library and for that purpose, the app is very useful.

Pluspunten:

The feature I like best is are the scannable codes for checking out a product. It was fast and easy but also effective. I also like that I can look up the product I have checked out and find out additional information about the product.

Minpunten:

I don't like that I seem to be able to look up other user's "checked out" items. This seems like a security issue. I wouldn't expect to see other people's library book check outs at a library.

GoCodes Asset Management Review

Opmerkingen: My Overall experience has been good using GoCodes.
I find it does help me with my day to day jobs.

Pluspunten:

Simple Set up. Easy to use. Doesn't take up to much phone space.

Minpunten:

Software can be slow at times. I have found nothing else which has been a problem for me.

Protect your assets by tracking

Opmerkingen: Very good. Very thorough. It’s a great til to help you keep track of the so many parts of a world of assets.

Pluspunten:

Ease of set up and support. We misunderstood a few things at the beginning but support was so helpful in helping us. Great customer service.

Minpunten:

For our purposes we needed some additional equipment to erect it’s use. But we operated fine manually with this until we set up an electronic process.

Great inventory system for static assets

Opmerkingen: This has helped our business so much with keeping track of equipment and so many other assets. We go code our lock boxes, ladders, vacuums and almost anything we don’t want to lose. The GPS feature is so helpful.

Pluspunten:

The ease of putting a sticker in the asset. The ease of scanning the asset. The ability to scan multiple assets

Minpunten:

The scanner doesn’t always work. Having to manually put in all of the info for each asset into the system

GoCodes, inventory tracking done right!

Opmerkingen: It was a nightmare tracking all users IT equipment and our spreadsheets growing at alarming rate when COVID hit and everyone started working remotely.
Although started out for IT inventory tracking, now we track other company property like office furniture.
We can create and edit fields to whatever we need them to be.

Pluspunten:

Piece of cake to set up. Phone app works really well with the included bar codes. Like that ordinary users can scan the code and send admins a message stating they have the product.

Minpunten:

Although it tracks GPS data, it's not really GPS tracking. Wherever the last scan was taken is the GPS location. So if you move to another location, it does not update.

Simple and worth every penny

Opmerkingen: Our Rentals department was able to go paperless for their drivers and we were able to add E-sign software which the drivers love as they only need their tablets for deliveries and picks up and the office receives the paper work almost instantly.

Pluspunten:

I love the ease of use to set up and the support i received. I am the only IT person for my company and it was hard for me to stay focused on this project very long as more critical things were going on. The support team gave us a product package that fit my company and gave us some time to get testing it fully and we liked what we saw.

Saves us money and helps avoid conflict!

Opmerkingen: We use this software for rental items, and while it only allows us to keep one picture, and does not yet provide notifications to admin on check-in and check-outs (assignments), it has helped the warehouses and customer service team IMMENSELY in communication about the items, and our customers find it hard to wiggle out of paying for lost items that are clearly scanned out to them and not returned. We use the mapping too, to see if an item is in one or the other warehouse. Overall, this has been a great investment in a tool that help us, and continues to improve as we grow as well! thanks GoCodes!

Opmerkingen: We were looking for an easy way to keep track of hundreds of printers, scanners, monitors, and other equipment that isn't connected using the network. Go Codes stood out to us as offering great pricing, an easy to use interface, and flexibility in designing our ID tags. We looked at other companies offering similar solutions, but it was the simple deployment that sold me and my team on Go Codes.
Our sales representative was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond with any pre-sales questions or concerns. Post deployment support is reliable and also fast to reply with any questions on of the staff may have.
I would recommend Go Codes for any company looking for an easy to use asset tag and inventory tracking solution.
