Amazing!

Pluspunten:

It is one of the cheapest options on the market and it does his job extremely well. We are a sweets confectionery start up and Megaventory offers everything we could need at this stage. The customer service is excellent.

Minpunten:

the software, like most of the competitors, is not really flexible. So in order to change and elaborate your data, you need to force the system a little.

A low-drama inventory and manufacturing option for D2C brands

Opmerkingen: As a cloud kitchen and direct to consumer brand, keeping a tab on consumption was a real challenge. Other options were either for manufacturing or retail sales; Megaventory was flexible enough to be wrangled in to a solution wherein we manufactured and procured. Support was terrific, I would say that they are the absolute best when it comes to support/consultation. They worked closely with me to answer every question. Highly recommend.

Pluspunten:

* Usability for a naive user could be better * Reports are not the greatest * Calculating consumption still a manual task * No option for local pricing of an SKU * Expensive for consumer play that might have hundreds of thousands of customers

Comprehensive Online Product

Good support but its so complicated

Great and quick support, i like that it is based online but it really doesn't give you much more than what you can make out of a spreadsheet the new layout isnt really any better than the old one and it would be better to update the contents rather than just the cosmetics.

Minpunten:

Why cant there just be one page which has all the information on it. ie stock quantities, price etc, etc updating an item is not simple and trying to do an inventory check is very complicated The quotes do not look very customer friendly and you cant adapt anything,

Pluspunten:

We’ve been using Megaventory for more than two years and the software seems to be designed exactly to our needs. The Megaventory team was directly involved in the onboarding process, so that helped us a lot as we were given a turnkey solution. For our needs, the system provides easy order tracking, picking, packing, and shipping modules. We are overall very happy with the way it has helped us improve our workflow.

Minpunten:

Unfortunately the Integration to SAP is missing.

Outstanding support!

Opmerkingen: Very good. Once gain it is the support and willingness to listen to feedback that has me sold!

Pluspunten:

The support is very good. We are developing our own "engineering" interface using the powerful API which comes built in. The support team has been very responsive and helpful through this process!

Minpunten:

Honestly, I have nothing bad to say. They are responsive when you have issues and genuinely work hard to help you resolve them in a timely manner. This is all I ask of any supplier we have and Megaventory goes above and beyond. It is clear that they understand that their customer's success directly relates to their own success!

Megaventory made easy

Opmerkingen: I initially lost track of my stock but with introduction of this software, I am now able to pull a report that will make me remember where I shipped a certain product to and who took that equipment there. Moreover, I easily identify stock differences with the system by pulling a report in excel format.

Pluspunten:

The theme of the software is user friendly. The buttons self explanatory. Easy navigable. Good track of stock.

Minpunten:

Initially it was somehow difficult to interprete its content, but now easy to understand.

Imposible to add pictures of products, that is one feature that we would love to be able to use

Minpunten:

Some functionality required is quite bespoke, and sometimes our processes do not fit with MGV, but we always manage to find a work around.

Just what we needed

Pluspunten:

We are now using Megaventory for over a year and we are extremely happy with the way it has organized our processes across our two companies. First of all, we could not find another software able to support multiple companies at this price tag. Second and most important: the technical support behind Megaventory is excellent! We wanted to set up some complex inventory views on the system and [sensitive content hidden] from the support team arranged a quick call with us and set it up all by himself at not extra cost. The guys are always available when help is needed.

Minpunten:

Not much to say, I don't have any complaints.

Excellent cloud inventory management platform

Opmerkingen: It is a cloud platform that is easy to use and many people can access it from anywhere. We keep on track with all the workflow of our purchasing, production, and sales. Stock availability to manage the upcoming productions, and product cost tracking in time is something that we couldn't do without the help of the MV platform.

Pluspunten:

Ease of Use, very good workflow especially for companies that manufacture products. Easy access from anywhere, affordable price for what we get, excellent support. Support of Multiple Locations / Warehouses / Companies. Product Cost Tracking, Landed Cost Calculations.

Minpunten:

We would prefer the backdating to be available in all supported features and the management of device serial numbers could not be so strict. Does not support a disassembly of a manufactured device.

Go mega on your inventory

Opmerkingen: We have or base control in Megaventory, to control manufacture and multiple warehouse goods.

Pluspunten:

One of the most easy to run software that can manage inventory and create work orders for manufacturing.

Minpunten:

The manufacturing administration of the program is not all well developed, but it works out good one e you get familiar with it.

Pluspunten:

The customer support is amazing. Their team is always willing to help.

Minpunten:

Sometimes we have problems with some features. However, I submit the problems to the customer support guys and I always get a response from them. Every software has problems, the key is to find a solution or a reason behind the problem. Which Megaventory excels at.

use of Megaventory, review

Pluspunten:

easy to make overviews and alerts, so collegues can act on it when nessecarry.Adding notes to subjects like work orders e.d. so it is clear were assignment are designated to(some projects)

Minpunten:

still not real easy to alter made WO's, for example: you create a WO and this is processed, however it need to be a slightly different type. So you would like to dismantle a WO of and product

Lightweight and easy to use.

Pluspunten:

The web based interface is very convenient and easy to set up. We were able to get our customer up and running within a day.

Minpunten:

A dedicated mobile interface would be a big plus. It works as is, but can be a struggle to use on the phone at times.

Our experience with Megaventory

Opmerkingen: Good Experience. I would not change megaventory with a similar app. Also the design of the UI improved along the latest few years.

Pluspunten:

Customer service, always available. Rest assure that they will reply you within 20 min (worse case scenario). Resonable price. Logic structure which will guide you through the stock handling process.

Minpunten:

The chance to update the databse via xls or cvs file. As long as I understand this method requires the operator to fill all the required fields. Would be good to update the database with the information the operator decides to upload (a part from SKU and similar fields which are mandatory).

Daily Megaventory use

Opmerkingen: Its pretty good.

Pluspunten:

We have a variety of products with serial numbers, The search bar is a very handy tool to look at anything by serial number or even if we search the product name, it gives you the stock level of that product in different inventory locations in the pop-up window. We no need to go to special tabs to look for that.

Minpunten:

There were some flaws in the previous version like when we click on Gear symbol on the top - right corner, The current window on which we were working, was used to close automatically. Now In the upgraded version as All Menu design has bee changed. There is no flaw like that.

Megaventory review

Pluspunten:

Great customer support. Megaventory team were always very quick to solve any issues.

Minpunten:

Limitations with multi organization settings.

I am a very satisfied Customer. The support team is very helpful and willing to help with any issue

Pluspunten:

Ease of use. Great customer service. We are a manufacturing company and had a few issues caused by our store software. The customer service was and is very helpful.

Minpunten:

We have had some issues with orders not linking having to link them manually with our store. It is probably our stores issue.

Easy to use and meets my inventory management requirements

Opmerkingen: Inventory control is very effective.

Pluspunten:

Multiple Warehousing, General User Interface, Prompt technical support, Website works perfectly fine with no hangups

Minpunten:

Absence of LIFO, FIFO, this feature is required by us for aging inventory analysis. Rest seems to work well for me

good experience in field of managing inventory of company locally.

Opmerkingen: Need to improve manufacturing module and low the monthly subscription for Asian countries.

Pluspunten:

inventory management and transfer of goods location wise. The entering and fixing of bill of materials.

Minpunten:

Variance analysis and of production i.e difference between standard and actual material and cost consumption.

Megaventory

Opmerkingen: Use of an online ordering system that can be used from any location, makes taking customer orders easy and can be printed in my office without me being there

Pluspunten:

Easy to use, does all the required actions for an online ordering system and can be used at multiple locations. Can be personalised to your own requirments

Minpunten:

Although a deal was done regards to costs it can get a little expensive for a smaller business

THE PRODUCT TAKES A FEW TRIES TO GET USED HOWEVER ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF IT , ITS SMOOTH SAILING.

THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS THE FASTEST THAT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED , THE PRICE IS ALSO VERY ATTRACTIVE.

Minpunten:

THE TIME IT TOOK ME TO LEARN BUT NOT YOUR FAULT, MAYBE WORK ON THE ABILITY TO INTERACT WITH QUICK BOOKS

Good display flexibility

Opmerkingen: We are using Meg mostly to do purchasing and keep track of stock at this point, and it works well for this purpose. I think we will use it more fully as time goes on.

Pluspunten:

It appears to have a lot of flexibility with displays on the screen, customisable headings and templates.

Minpunten:

I wish it were possible to drill down into products within BoMs and purchase orders etc. If you notice some information is wrong /missing at this point, you have to separately go to the Products list and find it. This seems illogical to me. I find the different types of "price" and "cost" rather confusing, but that might be my lack of training at this point.

Good value for the money

Opmerkingen: This is a very well thought out software that you start to appreciate after having spend a bit of time to get used to the interface. The idea of creating custom queries/filters that link to specific items within the company saves us time especially when multiple users are logged in at the same time (we have created a set of custom queries for each user that is specific to the job of the user in the company). On the downside, there is no accounting module (which we need) and we have to export our invoices and deal with accounting with another platform. Overall, there is space for improvement but we could not find something better for dealing with our sales operations at this price tag. The support is great, they usually get back to us within minutes.
