Streamlined Project Management with Admation

Opmerkingen: All in all, Admation is an excellent tool for managing projects. It is intuitive and easy to use, and it makes it simple to keep track of tasks and progress. Although there are some drawbacks, such as slow performance with a large number of tasks, and limited budgeting features, I would still recommend Admation for streamlining project management.

Admation has been an invaluable tool for streamlining our project management process. The user-friendly interface and intuitive features make it easy to keep track of projects and tasks. The ability to set up project milestones and assign tasks to different team members is a great time-saver. I also appreciate the real-time updates and notifications that keep everyone in the loop.

Minpunten:

Although Admation is an excellent project management tool, it is not without its flaws. I've noticed that the user experience can become sluggish when there are a large number of tasks and projects in the system. Additionally, the budgeting and cost tracking features are not as robust as some of the more advanced project management tools.

Great for assigning, tracking and overall management of creative projects

Pluspunten:

Audit trails, tracks approvals and easy to assign tasks and share assets. customer support is 10/10 - always on hand to help, and quickly too.

Minpunten:

The search functionality isn't great and sometimes its tricky to do certain things as there are many ways to do it - so if you don't use a feature often, it can take a bit of time in trail and error. Also going back over previous versions of creative and briefs can be tricky and even as admin if you aren't tagged in a comment, its difficult to find

Admation is lacking many functions that would make it more user-friendly.

Pluspunten:

The audit trail is a useful feature.

Minpunten:

The inconsistent and seemingly random allocation of job numbers. It would be better to have a job number (e.g. 123456) and then the deliverables are listed as .1, .2 (e.g. 123456.1). This would save lots of time searching and streamline the process. The fact that sometimes the only option is to go BACK but you can only do this limited times. The email/messaging feature is clunky. Having to select ALL or ANY when there is only one contact. Having to specify who the recipient is when you are replying to an email. No 'back to top' feature so lots of scrolling especially in the asset library. Long subject lines in email e.g. "Your item has been approved/reviewed" which only leaves a few spaces for the actual job name. It would be better if it just said "approved" or "rejected" and gave more of the job name. There are too many places where information can be stored (e.g. requirements for the job) and it is easy to miss things. It would be good if there was an option to "download all". Sometimes we have ten or more docs to download and it can be time consuming to do these individually. As well as "project organisations" and "project team" it would be good if there was a space in the job deliverables detail screen where the name of the designer and copywriter could go.

I agree that features such as the Back to Top scroll will be quite useful! You'll be pleased to know that we're currently reviewing our subject line structure for email notifications. This release should be available before the end of the month! I'd really love to hear your suggestions for the ALL/ANY approval when there's only one recipient. I've made a note to start chatting about this with the UX team quite soon. Lastly, there are ways to download multiple items out of the system. Files can be bulk downloaded, and assets can be bulk exported via the Cart function! It would be great to set up a time to chat about these. Brilliant for reviewing artwork and providing feedback. The Ad Library and Asset Library have been of enormous benefit when it comes to easily viewing and navigating through existing assets.

Minpunten:

Glitches resulting in briefs disappearing when they are saved or sent is incredibly frustrating. Especially given that this occurs on occasion when you try to do the right thing and save work frequently.

Opmerkingen: I am slowly getting used to the Admation software and finding it ok. Overall I find it very busy, there is too much information which is unnecessary which makes it hard to use and understand. Its not a user friendly or intuitive platform and could be designed to be much more appealing to the eye.

Pluspunten:

Keeps a good record of all our partner sign offs.

Minpunten:

Its not easy to edit, use and approve items. It requires more customisation to suit the business use or purpose of the software. It should be a system that is so intuitive that you don't require training like Pageproof, which is used by our white-label partner. It would be really helpful if you had business best practice for use, because the process is much bigger than just the platform i.e. file types used etc. which could be communicated through the platform.

You can't click back without the page messing up. Sometimes colleague feedback is overwhelming and you can't really tell the order that it's in.

Pluspunten:

I enjoy using Admation because it has made the advertisement management for me and my team easier. It wasn't easy to use at first but with frequent usage, I can say Admation is cool and gives an effective work output.

Minpunten:

I don't like the fact that it doesn't have a mobile version. I would love to be able to access it on my mobile phone.

Opmerkingen: I try to use it as least as possible, I have gone back to emailing all assets for approval to make it easier for the approver to access and view my "deliverables".
If someone says to me "it's in Admation" I literally get a sense of dread.
My poor manager has made it his almost full time job just trying to manage the mess that is admation and I get him to brief me via Jira. Which is double handling for him, but there was so much mis-communication and tasks falling into black holes when all our teams tried to use admation only. It has now added to our work load and is another thing we "have to do".

Pluspunten:

um nope, sorry, nothing comes to mind. Wow, you put a minimum character count for this field? Sad.

Minpunten:

UI & design- Awful, extremely dated, feels like going back in time. UX- Complicated and unintuitive, so many elements on the interface seem redundant or meaningless and cannot be self interpreted. Features-limited and clunky. Multiple ambiguous steps required for simple tasks, features lacking for how our company is trying to use it (as a complete workflow and approvals system). I could go on, but I really don't have the time.

The character count sounds like something that's coming from your custom-briefs. This is customisable per your brand, and we could perhaps chat to your marketing manager about reducing or removing this character count altogether. Admation is excellent for retrieving old work but terrible for it's job numbering system

Opmerkingen: It's got better but still takes a lot of steps to carry out a simple upload, it logs you out to quickly and and it doesn't save PDF's but rather jpegs of PDF's for markups so you cannot read fine detail like the previous job number on a piece of artwork.

Pluspunten:

I can see all the jobs I have worked on over several years.

Minpunten:

The job numbers should be alpha numeric, they number by itself is close to useless.

simple concept difficult to master

Admation ensures every of our creative that goes to market has been gisned off by relevant stakeholders (provided people remember to use it). Easy to approve work (as an approver)

Minpunten:

can become very frustrating when there are countelss rounds of signoff... the tool is used in our organisation as a complicated collaborative working tool that generates resentment at times when things are submitted again aand again for minor changes when a phone /meeting or email could get everyone on the same page. very annoying that you have to download word docs to mark them up and it can't be done in the software

CX is rubbish. Not intuitive at all. You have to be 'taught' how to use the software as there is no way you coiuld work it out for yourself.

The workflow is simple and customisable. I particularly like the Feedback and Proofing user interface which allows for batch feedback and approvals.

Minpunten:

Frequent timeouts and dropout that often result in losing whole briefs.

User un-friendly

Opmerkingen: I would rather not use it. Unfortunately my place of work uses it as a job processing system. It's not a pleasant experience to use it.

Pluspunten:

There isn't much to like about Admation unfortunately. For a creative, it's not user friendly and very cumbersome with an unattractive and unwieldy interface.

Minpunten:

All the actions, buttons and clicks you need to take to complete one process. It's too much!

I do not like how it is integrated with e-mail and how there are a number of functions that are not used and make the process difficult to use.

Admation review

Pluspunten:

I like that there is an easy way of putting in all work and being able to see versions that have been submitted and the changes that have been made along the way.

Minpunten:

I don't like if you have accidentally submitted a piece to everyone in a group, that you have to resubmit the whole piece, rather than being able to edit it in the project. This adds time to the overall approval process.

Opmerkingen: It can seem a bit overwhelming and clunky to use at a start, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes an intrinsic part of making sure all stakeholders get a say, content is reviewed and approved according to process, and there's a clear audit trail.

Visibility of content review process for audit and governance.

It's not the smoothest UX - could be more intuitive and friendly so easier to pick up.

I definitely get that it can be quite time-consuming to allocate those deliverable types one by one. I can see that your review date was quite some time ago, but there is an option in the system to Batch Edit the deliverable type when you're uploading multiple files. Opmerkingen: Overall I enjoy using admation, it is an easy and effective way to manage creative feedback and approvals.
My only complaint really would be that it doesn't keep you logged in so multiple times I have opened up creative to review, come back to it after a meeting or approval meeting and typed up feedback only to hit submit and lose the feedback I've typed up because I have been logged out.

Pluspunten:

The ability to store the whole creative journey & feedback in one place.

Minpunten:

It doesn't remember you or keep you logged in. It isn't as though this is online banking - I think the security could be relaxed.

Admation review

Opmerkingen: Overall we experience a lot of issues with Admation for timeframes... the process can simply take too long with the multiple levels not being able to review simultaneously etc.

Pluspunten:

It ensures peer review of work and keeps a valued audit trail.

Minpunten:

Clunky, the levels can make turn around times take too long. would be good if reviewers could leave feedback on the same document, like a google doc feature.

Hi Ella, Sorry to hear about your experience! It sounds like your team could really benefit from using Continuous approvals. This sends documents through to the second level even when the document is rejected at Level 1. That way, there's no real delay around seeing items even when there are changes requested on earlier versions, and essentially people end up viewing items almost simultaneously. To turn on continuous approvals, ensure the continuous box(es) are ticked when submitting an item for approval! Let us know how you go with this! Comments gets disappeared or functions change all the time. Pages are getting dissapered
