We have experienced an improvement in SEO through optimization of video content in video hosting. It is user-friendly and cost-effective too making it an ideal solution for us.

The platform may not be very suitable for users that exclusively rely on video content for revenue generation as it may be hard to monetize them on this platform.

Opmerkingen: It took a little while to learn my way around the site and app, but I’m enjoying it now. And I can easily integrate videos with my website which is great.

The quality of my video uploads is literally the reason why I became a customer. Vimeo preserve video quality so well.

The time it takes for videos to upload is kind of long, but it’s manageable. Also, the video editing tool is pretty limited.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! - THERE'S NO WAY OUT!!

Once you have subscribed for a basic membership, it is literally impossible to unsubscribe. There is no method to cancel online, despite directions on their website which tell you where to go. There is no customer support phone number. There is no live chat option. The phone number [sensitive content hidden] popped up for the bank when cutting off their charge on my credit card. Dialing that, I was still unable to connect with anyone as I do not have a "pin" number, so was unable to advance past the automated introduction. Don't waste your time with Vimeo. Use another option.

Powerful but Expensive

Opmerkingen: The program was solid with no downtime and customer service was responsive when needed. It was too complicated and expensive for a small business trying to just host videos for our own website.

Vimeo is a powerful product with lots of features.

For a small business, there were too many features and it became complicated to use, select settings and do what I wanted to do. It it also too expensive for what I need.

Pluspunten:

I can easily engage several teams on the platform and I have the freedom to switch between them. No worries of background disturbances, videos can be mute to avoid them. Also, it brings stability in performance and our overall goal. Creates beautiful presentations which came be customized to make them more appealing. In the case where files in question are too large or contain parts which are not relevant, trimming is possible. This improves efficiency in the final results. It is generally a very easy to use tool.

Well, no cons experienced so far. Work is always done to expectations.

Vimeo The Perfect Video Hosting Solution

Opmerkingen: Overall for our company there would be no other option than using Vimeo for hosting our videos. In our experience Vimeo also has a very good customer care team as when we raised a small billing issue, this was resolved quickly and appropriately with no hassle, which is what you want when you are busy working projects and content.

Vimeo is quite simply fantastic, it is a rock solid platform that has NEVER let us down. We embed project videos on our website and they look great, we switched to using Vimeo as it was a brand we trusted, best decision we have ever made in terms of our video content. We love the way we can control the settings for each video and also the player controls depending on what we need. It's a 10 out of 10 from us!

Obviously as premium product there is an annual cost to using Vimeo, but we feel that the benefit we get far outweighs this. In fact Vimeo probably pays for itself as our designs and services are showcased in our videos and new leads generated. There's not much else to say, we wouldn't use anything else.

Great business solution for hosting agency videos and for distributing them internally and with clients

I love to be able to see all the projects and shorts the extended team in my agency is working on. I also like the ability to download videos from the tool or lock videos so that they are only available in view mode and can't be downloaded. Great collaboration and storage tool overall!

Minpunten:

Beyond the basic hosting capabilities, I think it lacks key features that would appeal to creative directors and producers within my agency, like having more bandwidth available under specific paid plans or the ability to have more custom CTAs

Creator-Centric Live Streaming and Video Management

Opmerkingen: Overall, it's great for managing libraries, adding tags, ads, and live streaming. I wish they offered more support regarding searchability, but outside of that, it's the best!

Vimeo has great tools for the average creator or podcaster. For live streaming, uploading, and storing large amounts of video content, there isn't a better cloud platform. It's creator-centric.

Vimeo does not add search visibility. The platform is comprehensive, but not many viewers use it. It's creator-centric.

Very few video hosting sites allow you to edit and replace a video you've already uploaded, vimeo is one of those.

The platform relies heavily on using on Vimeo because they do not question you too much on the video itself and provides you with the privacy you need.

I was easily able to upload my videos to another platform and the video quality was good.

Minpunten:

They make it difficult to drop your membership on the web and there is no telephone support.

Opmerkingen: Generally, I like Vimeo. Quality is better than any other alternatives. I feel much more safer when I used Vimeo.

Pluspunten:

Video editing and capturing portal is very quality. I didn't lost any of my project although my bad internet access. Using is very easy and fast.

Minpunten:

Sometimes it takes a long time to arrange to censor some parts like my identity information on the screen. I'm not sure if this is possible but, if this censor follow the typing while I capture, that would be amazing.

I love that I can upload a file, and instantly get the link even before the file upload is complete. That saves me a lot of time. I also really like that I can go back in and change the intro image on the video.

It's not as easy as drag and drop to move folders around and organize them. I honestly haven't given it a lot of effort, but it's not super obvious.
