Bynder is used all over our company. Bynder has been an extremely flexible option for us to better manage the distribution and use of all of our digital assets. Inefficient time and effort is wasted trying to locate needed digital files that have been dispersed among multiple computers, shared folders, and emails.
There's no way to keep tabs on which files are being transferred, downloaded, etc. It was difficult to locate assets without knowing precisely where they were stored. To use several filters based on a single metaproperty. Minimization of computerized categorization.
Bynder is very user-friendly and configurable
Opmerkingen: Our sales and marketing digital asset management system and our graphics digital asset management system needed to be integrated. We required an easy-to-use and easy-to-manage solution. Bynder gives you access to everything.
It was made clear by the Onboarding Manager exactly what needed to be done and when. They gave us with tools to evaluate and spreadsheets to help us verify the platform's suitability for our purposes. The weekly sessions were fruitful, and the "homework" tasks were manageable. The database is well-built, but it also allows for a great deal of customization.
Metaproperties and permissions may have benefited from a bit more description of how they're used, especially how they're connected. Things didn't exactly go according to plan, so we had to go back a few times and reorganize.
The safest place for your assets.

Good Overall Product - Needs Continuous Improvement
Opmerkingen: The help-team is generally really responsive at the onset. But once the ticket has to go to engineering or product, I don't get any follow up on where my ticket stands or projected timelines for solving said problem.
Overall I like this product, I think it's generally user friendly for me as the admin. I find it easy to organize my assets and my users. Some of the reasons I find it cumbersome are because users within my organization are asking the system to do things that it's not capable of. (ie, using it more as a shareable dropbox as opposed to a directory of assets)
...that said... I find myself having to put in tickets to fix or implement things that feel like they should already be a part of the integration. For example, I asked the system to kick out a report. Within webdam, the report pulled up 4,000 assets that fit the criteria I searched for. However, when I kicked out the excel file, it only showed the first 1,000. What's the point of reporting if I can't see the whole report? Also, my department established a process in webdam for Regular users and it worked for a year or so and then suddenly stopped working due to changes made in the system. It's currently being sorted out now, but it was a frustrating discovery.
Excellent service from the very start
Bynder has a great UI/UX interface and is easy to use. Not only that, it allows for efficiencies within our business to find and share files amongst our global locations - something that was difficult and time consuming before. The onboarding process and setup was super simple and we had all the support we needed. It's flexible enough to customise, whilst still maintaining the great features Bynder offers.
I think some features and integrations were cost prohibitive, but that's a product of the SaaS market we find ourselves in - the DAM itself is great value for money.

Meets all project management needs of an animation studio

Bynder is the most user-friendly and easy to use project management platform with its relative extensive features such as video brand studio, workflow manager and digital asset management infrastructure.
Although in overall Bynder is the most user-friendly and easy to use project management platform, it is hard to say that reports tool is that much user-friendly and sufficient to reflect all required statistical data.

Intuitive and easy of use
Opmerkingen: Overall, I really like the way it's setup, and the flexibility you have to customize the product for your brand. We've done away with network folders, we've made more people self sufficient. We now know what assets we have. Duplications are pretty non existent. Got rid of allot of manual work on websites; cropping images, replacing documents etc.
I like the lack of folder structure, this combined with a good taxonomy, you'll find what you need in seconds.
Integrations and flexibility with CMS, but it's getting better. The stability and lack of customization of the Analytics. The rest are just some small issues.
Very impressed with the platform and the onboarding team
Opmerkingen: Fantastic experience so far. Our products sell themselves on their imagery. Maintaining a consistent and coherent folder structure and naming convention in traditional platforms like Box and Sharepoint has been a headache for years. Bynder removes a lot of these issues and it is quickly adopted by teams and individuals. The platform has some nice features like the external upload which again has solved a long-standing issue we have had with collecting images from suppliers and being able to ensure the meta properties have been added, has really improved the governance of our digital assets.The onboarding experience has been second to none.
They are innovative and have some very helpful integrations. There is a good level of customisation that can be done without external support and it is really easy to use. As soon as you demo the product to someone in your organisation, they instantly get it and see the benefits of using the platform.The onboarding experience has been the best I have ever experienced with a software product. The team are very knowledgeable and guides you in small, manageable steps.
The different tiers of user roles are part of the contract and the number of high-level roles (e.g. Admins) are quite low as standard.

A good Digital Asset Management tool
Opmerkingen: Overall the experience has been positive. Bynder works as we expected and we have no issues with it so far.
Easy to upload new assets and categorize them. Easy to find and download them and to create variations from the original assets, as well as download in different formats.
The template features are quite limited. Granted this is a DAM tool not a creative tool, so it's understandable the template feature wouldn't be their core strenght. But when compared to other tools that can also do to that, Bynder lags behind.

Bynder's DAM module empowers our marketers to be able to find things on their own, see the brand guidelines, and know what is already "brand approved" in one place. By having featured collections, we can present new and interesting materials that others may not know about in an easy to find way that gets the new assets in our stakeholders hands more quickly than ever before. Bynder's Workflow module is intuitive and easy it is for our stakeholders and legal teams to review, annotate and provide feedback in a timely manner to our creative team. It has greatly improved our communication and efficiency working on projects.
With one central location for people to find files, guidelines, images and inquire about projects, we are much more efficient in providing people what they need, and ensuring brand compliance. Having Collections and the file send feature is extremely helpful. We also use workflfow, so Bynder collectively allows us to be nimble in our creative development and asset management.
I wish the workflow tool integrated better with the DAM.
Good product that is helping us make the most of our digital assets globally
Opmerkingen: Enhanced collaboration and sharing of digital assets across our global organisation. Ability to keep all our digital assets in one place and organised and tagged to improve searchability and usage. It also allows us to run reports to see how material is being used and who is using it.
Simple to use, intuitive, helpful customer support and Bynder continue to provide enhancements and new functionality to improve our experience. It has been a big benefit to our organisation and enabled us to combine two separate digital asset libraries into one effective global system allowing all our teams across the globe to share and collaborate.
When we reviewed the market we found no one DAM product was an exact match for our needs by Bynder definitely came the closest. We would like more push notification functionality and also stop/start uploads for times where internet connection is patchy in some of the areas where we operate but we know Bynder is continuing to assess and develop new things on their roadmap
Easy place-it, easy find-it.
Opmerkingen: WebDam is very friendly user. We have a multitude of users from various groups with different needs and capabilities. WebDam allows us to put security in place so we do not share our intellectual properties with just everyone.
Drag and drop to upload assets
The light box is cumbersome. The assets needs to stay in there until they are downloaded from the people we share with but WebDam wont alert us when the files are actually downloaded by the end user.

Thanks Brigitte! Glad to see Webdam is helping you keep your content secure. Regarding your feedback on lightboxes, have you tried watching those particular assets or checking the download reports? If neither accommodate to your workflows, contact your CSM for additional help.
Great product that grows with your company
Opmerkingen: Overall we've had a great experience with Bynder. We've been able to steadily grow and the new features they have added and improved have also improved our work streams.
The people at Bynder are great. The process of building our product was seamless and our contact always get back to us quickly with answers to our miscellaneous questions. They were also willing to customize the product to fit our needs and willing to grow with us, given we are a small organization but growing rapidly.
There are some features that I wish were robust. For example, the Guidelines feature is quite limited in formatting and is not as user friendly as the portal. Another example - we'd love to be able to check multiple filters at once. The photo cropping tool was also quite limited but Bynder recently made improvements to this. Another cool feature about Bynder; they listen to feedback and are constantly improving the product.

Excellent customer service. Prior to his departure, Rep was our CSM and he was great to work with.
Glitchy behavior - examples would be subfolders that were created would randomly disappear and then reappear if you logged out and back in again.
Bynder is still the leader in DAM and creative management
Opmerkingen: Bynder has cut the time it takes us to create and share assets by hundreds of hours a year. It has saved our creative team tonnes of work when creating new asset variants.
Finding the right assets and easily sharing them with both our internal and external stakeholders is a breeze. The user interface is super easy to use.
Nothing I can think of - maybe a few bits around the waiting room functionality can be improved.
WebDAM - A Bynder Product
Opmerkingen: Having been a WebDAM user for the past 5+ years, we have really relied on the software for all of our digital asset needs for our marketing department and for the entire organization.
We were early adopters to onboard WebDAM and the solution has met our need. It allows us to organize, tag, download, save lightboxes for projects, search, expire old photos with ease. The pricing is aligned with their competitors so it's a competitive software solution for anyone to explore!
For us, they are only minor - being able to embed metadata within the photo through WebDAM and integrated plug-ins for Adobe CC. Not a deal breaker but certainly would help!

Opmerkingen: Webdam was chosen to be our DAM system because of the ease of use and affordable pricing. The task of migration was a bit tricky. We hired an outside company to transfer assets from MediaBin to Webdam. Transferring metadata and some of file types were a bit challenging. We just about have all of those issues solved. We rolled out our training of Webdam to employees and vendors. The system has been well received and folks are using it and love how smooth it is. Uploading assets is a breeze, drag and drop...voila! Very easy to add metadata and organize the folder structure. Overall, Webdam is an amazing DAM system!!

Glad to hear your team was able to easily adopt Webdam! Increased folder functionality is a feature that¿s high on our radar. In the meantime, while lightboxes aren¿t the same as folders, they are great for batch actions like emailing, downloading, etc.
It Does the Job
Opmerkingen: We use Bynder to store all of our completed work, but that doesn't happen as much as we'd like because it takes a long time to upload each asset.
I like that Bynder is our one-stop-shop for all our digital assets. I also like how easy it is to log in to Bynder and instantly see what fellow coworkers are designing. It's a great place for inspiration that's on-brand because it was created by other designers in our company.
The interface is very clunky and it can be difficult to find what I'm looking for. It also takes so long to upload even a single asset that many designers forgo uploading their finished work to Bynder.
Review of Web DAM Service
My name is Maribel Dato and I work with American Media, Inc.
We recently signed up with Web DAM to create a full e-commerce website solution to our syndication and licensing needs, so in other words, this site helps other clients that are typically business media to license or purchase rights to our content through the site that Web DAM solutions has created for us. Overall the experience has been very good. We had the website up and running within 7 weeks which is what we expected as a development time. Our customer success rep has done a stellar job in assisting us with setting the account properly. One of the pros to having our website developed by the web DAM team is that we not only got the training from our account success manager but we also got videos and other interactive tools to learn the site systems. The only issues I've experienced are that when specific functionality questions or issues have come up, I don't always get an answer within the same day and sometimes I need to wait for the next upgrade of the Web DAM system or rollover in order for it to be fixed, which is not as practical as we'd wish when it comes to doing business with our own clients with the website. I hope to see many improvements from your services and in general we are very satisfied as customers with our new DAM site.
DAM made easy
Really simple to use which has supported quick user adoption and helped us ensure our digital transformation could occur.
Bynder has very few flaws but the rights management side could be stronger but this is due to the complexity of our digital assets.
Bynder keeps getting good new features. Also the customer support is quick and effective. With those two combined, problems are quickly solved.
I can't think of anything I don't really like about Bynder
Great Resource for Asset Management
We love having all of our marketing collateral in one place that is easily accessible. Our sales reps can access photos and videos on their laptops, cell phones and easily share materials through Bynder.
We had issues during the implementation process. Our teams required a lot of training and resources weren't readily available.
The DAM for forward looking brands
Opmerkingen: Centralising all our digital assets in one place and not having to spend loads of time finding what we need. We are also saving so much time creating assets by using the templates module - non-technical users like me can create great-looking assets from pre-set templates without having to bother the creative team.
The intuitive interface, how easy it is to find the right files and the speed at which new functionality is added to the platform. We are also using the digital brand templates module which allows us to create personalised content at scale without having to go to our design team and request small changes.
Nothing I dislike in particular at this moment.
