The UI is definitely getting better with every update, but it still feels a little lackluster and clunky.

It makes text processing with AI anywhere on your Mac or iPhone using your own styles and custom trained models so easy.

Power of ChatGPT in your Mac OS applications

Opmerkingen: Elephas combines many of the options that I was looking to solve with different online tools, and now not only it's combined into one, but it's working 'standalone' and 'inline' in my Mac applications. This is awesome.

Pluspunten:

Elephas enables you to use the power of OpenAI / ChatGPT in your regular workflows / applications on Mac OS. No need to copy paste, just work inline anywhere you need it. Add the SuperBrain option and you have a powerful self-trained AI brain at your fingertips.

Minpunten:

As with any startup or new SaaS product, you run into the occasional bug or UX/UI may be improved. It just needs time, and with every update it just gets better.

A great AI companion

Opmerkingen: I use it almost every day, and it has really helped me out with some tedious projects.

It's always available and its "brain" function is incredibly useful.

Minpunten:

I wish it wouldn't quit entirely with a cmd-q, because I accidentally quit it when I want to just close the window.

A Five Star Experience with Elephas

Opmerkingen: My overall experience with Elephas has been nothing short of fantastic. I am impressed by its sleek design and intuitive interface. It's clear that a lot of thought has been put into making the app user-friendly and easy to navigate.
The features that Elephas offers are really very useful. Whether it's the high level of customization, the speed and efficiency of the app, or the regular updates that keep making the app better, it's clear that Elephas is a cut above the rest. In summary, Elephas is well-designed and incredibly feature-rich; however, there is still room for improvement, such as the addition of more learning videos with audio explanations.

Pluspunten:

- Intuitive and easy to navigate interface, sleek/modern design - The app is packed with innovative features that make it stand out from the competition in most cases

Minpunten:

- Some features accessible only from the top bar menu, eg. GSheet formula and Unix options – these two I use daily.

Easy to use tool

The presets for rewriting have been enormously helpful! I’ve experimented with superbrains a bit and need to finish putting in my writing and notes.

Minpunten:

For the superbrain: Because much of my own content is in audio format, it’s taking a while to upload and index all of it.

Elephas is just what I have been looking for!

Opmerkingen: Amazing! There are many apps that can do bits and pieces of what Elephas can do, but not all of it. Also, the utility of the super brains for so many different tasks, and the broad selection of different material they can include make Elephas stand out against any competition.

Pluspunten:

The variety of stuff it can do within the same app.

The indexing of pdfs into my super brains has been slow so far, but the team is on it.

Simplify the app to bring AI to the masses!

It's incredibly user-friendly and quick to use, especially the Smart brain function which is highly beneficial.

Sometimes, errors occur in the function, requiring it to be redone.

Simple, and perfect

Opmerkingen: I was very impressed from day one. This is one of the first integrated directly to the OS tools that I have seen on the market in regards to artificial intelligence. And it’s incredible.

The amount of features that it has and how it directly integrates into the OS is incredible.

The only complaint I have is that I wish I had a longer subscription or free trial! 🥰

One of my most used tools

Opmerkingen: Elephas is best thought of as a force-multiplier for productivity tasks which is a unique application of GPT3/4 which is enabled by its deep integration into macOS.

Pluspunten:

Elephas is an incredibly useful tool. It is built into macOS, making it very easy to integrate into existing workflows. It also provides a great chatbot front-end for chatgpt, making it a great way to automate tasks and streamline communication.

Minpunten:

Elephas is a great tool, but it could use some improvements. The lack of an auto-update mechanism is a bit of a letdown, and the UI could use a bit more polish.

Worth exploring

Opmerkingen: A little raw, but still a unique product that I'm sure others will imitate.

Pluspunten:

There are loads of AI app cropping up now - the unique feature of Elephas is the "super-brain" - that it can store your documents for querying, rather than needing to upload them one by one each time you want to reference them.

Minpunten:

The user interface isn't quite as slick as I'd like it to be, I didn't love the constant hover pop-up over every application, but I'd expect this will be refined over time.

Excellent and promising application

Opmerkingen: Most of the time, I utilize it as a text enhancer, rephrasing and correcting; however, occasionally I employ it as an AI tool.

Pluspunten:

It's a fantastic app for managing text: translations, rephrasing, fixing text, and more. I switched from another popular app and I'm extremely satisfied. In addition to this, it appears to me that it holds great potential for advancement as an AI tool.

Minpunten:

Maybe the product should focus on improving its access and functionality as an AI general tool, if that's what the developers aim for, but for now, it's already great.

One of the best AI tools for text writing

The Super Brain feature is great, it helps a lot that you can sync it with your phone and have it available at all times.

Elephas creates leverage in any repetitive task my team and I do. It brings the incredible power of GPT to any application on your computer and gives me the power to write little pieces of customized "software" to perform any task I need it to.

There's a learning curve. There are so many features that it can be a bit overwhelming to know where to start. My recommendation is to pick one high-leverage use case for you and branch out from there.

Killer GPT-based Software Integrated With Your Mac

Opmerkingen: Elephas has empowered me to work more quickly and efficiently, and to keep me moving at times when I would otherwise be stuck. It's helped me rewrite my portfolio, bio, write social media posts and create case studies, figure out a plan of action in solving complex problems, and generate ideas I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. Not to mention, it's totally streamlined my email and message replies. It's been a great compliment to my workflow in MacOS, and has just become part of how I work while staying out of the way when I don't need it. I'm not sure it can get much better than that!

Pluspunten:

I love Elehpas' features. It was pretty quick to jump into the AI game, and I was an early adopter. I was surprised with every update, as they always included something that felt fresh and new—even within the broader AI landscape. Customizable writing tones, configurable datasets for the AI to work with, and preset actions were some of the features that really impressed me. Outside of that, it's insanely convenient to have AI at the ready no matter where you are in your OS.

Minpunten:

I've had no issues with Elephas from a functional standpoint. I think there are a few UI things that could be tightened up—like the Diff Viewer and maybe the chat window—but it's more than functional. Could just be a little prettier sometimes.
