Opmerkingen: It has been a huge time saver for me, and is now the default reference & thinking tool I use when doing complex research.

Pluspunten:

Great Interface, simple and easy to use. Using it on a digital pen enabled device, like a tablet layout input make it worthwhile. As one of those people who still loves scribbling and noting things down, having an easy tool is a big deal for me.

Minpunten:

While it can integrate with two of the most common reference managers, the ability to import would be nice. There are standardised formats out there, so its not dependent of these two.

All in one

Opmerkingen: I am in a healthcare industry and due to vast amount of information in it, I need a app that summarise and present it in understandable way and liquid text is definitely good at it by doing so

Pluspunten:

Mind maps, content sharing and document linking are my favourite features

Minpunten:

Note taking is not perfectly improved to smooth experience and I think it need to be developed

No need for paper - ever

It allows document management to be undertaken in a totally paper free manner.

There are functionality issues in syncing between windows and apple products

Best PDF experience with moderate note taking experience

Opmerkingen: I personally found this feature rich and it does almost every document related need complete.

Pluspunten:

It’s extraordinary ability to edit the pdf file is really nice and handy. Combination of all document related features is good. Haven’t used this feature a lot but the pointing kinda thing that we can link a topic of a pdf to a comment is really nice though. Collaborative feature are good also and I found this app the most advance one in whole Apple ecosystem to be honest. So, you can definitely go for this.

Minpunten:

1. it is not available for android which is really a headache.2. It’s note taking experience is not as good as Goodnotes and team should focus on improving this.3. Price of its plans is really high and some of the goodies is only available on those only.4. Document storing experience can be a little enhanced.

All rounder for Journalists!

Pluspunten:

Editing features are really good, highlighting the text, editing text, creating a doc and accessing multiple docs at a time are really useful for journalism and this serves the proper purpose with perfection. Also, it really works the best if you have an Apple ecosystem.

Minpunten:

A few more note taking features can be added. This is good for note taking but if we try to make some art, it doesn't have proper brushes. I know this is not made for this but still, it would be really nice if this had these.

Could be a little bit better, but still the best

Opmerkingen: I switched from a free Apple app called Freeform just because of lack of features and I really took a good decision.

Pluspunten:

It's collaborative features are very useful and great. Also other tools like note taking, PDF sticky notes kinda things, editing pdf, mind maping are great features to consider. Used this for about 5 months and it has a tons of features that I like. Great support for documents. Even I can import pptx files and edit them which is a must feature to have.

Minpunten:

Few things that can be added and are must to have:1. Document folder on main screen, so that we can categorize the document based on their purpose.2. User interface could be a little more user friendly. For a beginner, its a little bit hard to learn things.3. It's not available for android devices. Like atleast this must be available for samsung tab so that they can also get included in collaborative projects.

LiquidText- Seamless like liquid

Pluspunten:

Notes taking experience is good and also works in an imported doc. So works well for editing some too. Also, includes powerful features for every aspect like pdf editing, making notes, book reading and managing multiple docs at a time.As of my experience, I found this app getting better and better and new features are constantly added. There's no bug yet that I faced. Very smooth and fluid experience 👍

Minpunten:

There are multiple plans available which is a bit confusing. They should give a free 7 or 15 days trial to try out all the features and then decided whether plan to choose from.

The best app available on the market but still scope for improvement and refinement

Opmerkingen: Generally positive and the new features are encouraging.

Pluspunten:

Ease of use and features. I rely on the pinch search, highlighting, text extract, quick links and option for multiple workspaces when prepping for hearings.

Minpunten:

1. To finally resolve an issue with LiquidText removing text in a PDF form - I have repeatedly raised this as a concern and it remains unresolved2. Move all of the toolbars into one consolidated toolbar at the top of the page. The floating toolbars get in the way of being able to work on documents and I cannot understand why they are separate. Also to amend the toolbar layout so that icons aren't in the middle of the screen, causing them to interfere with Apple's split screen on an iPad. 3. Add shortcuts for 3-4 commonly used colours to reduce need to keep re-opening highlight menu to switch between colours when highlighting4. Improve ability to jump to pages in page navigation. Commonly have pages as A22, A23 etc and when searching the search goes to any hit and not automatically to the most relevant5. When opening word documents the layout does not match what would be seen on screen on a desktop meaning page numbering falls out of sync and it makes it hard to navigate when collaborating with others6. When opening a number of documents at the same time this should open as a single new workspace and not as multiple workspaces7. It would be great if there was a feature to allow users to save and import as a standalone, new document a signed document. 8. The bundle updating function often crashes/does not work/does not recognise when the bookmarking in a bundle has been updated/ fails to load the bundle.

Increases Efficiency with Lower Learning Curve

Opmerkingen: It helps me organize multiple sources of data so that I can more efficiently draft briefs, articles, and outlines. I wish that I had this software in college and law school.

Pluspunten:

I appreciate that I can load non-HIPAA documents into the system and organize them by folders. As I'm reviewing the documents I can cut out the relevant portions. Once I've done that, drafting briefs, outlines, and summaries is much easier because the relevant content is organized and I'm not looking for random highlights in a myriad of PDFs.

Minpunten:

The product is fairly buggy. I've had it shut down on me, and fail to open certain PDFs. I use it on the iPad and the PC, the sometimes the iPad version won't open certain files. I also think it should be HIPAA-certified so that we can review medical records and other sensitive documents.

Great for collaboration and maping down what I have in my mind

Opmerkingen: I have notability and goodnotes and paid for them but still they were not able to fulfill my requirements but LiquidText did it well. I had recommended it to my friends and would say that you should definitely go for this.

Pluspunten:

Best thing about the LiquidText is that I can link any topic in any pdf to a comment and whenever I click on that comment it locates me back to that portion of the pdf. Also the whiteboard helps me to store my all notes at one place.Collaborative features are also worth to mention as this make things a lot easier when it comes to working together with a team.

Minpunten:

Only issue I found was that I was unable to import my notability notes in LiquidText in note format. I had to first convert it into a pdf. This makes a little difficult to shift to LiquidText.

Best for reviewing

Opmerkingen: Thank you for creating LiquidText! Ever since I started using LiquidText my studying & working jouney is more innovative. I love that you guys are putting a lot of effort in improving this app and that makes me want to continue using this app even more. Keep up!

Pluspunten:

What I like about LiqidText is that it's very easy to write, organize, and review notes acorss the document. It's almost like studying with an actualy notebook & pen but much better because it's paper-less! Especially for intense studying or reviewing it is so helful. I am a professional who's always reviewing for different licensure exams and I need to take a lot of notes in a single document. Being able to take as much notes as possible without minding how much blank space I have in a page is a great feeling and it makes my reviewing more efficient & productive.

Minpunten:

I'm not very fond of the user interface. As a person who uses a lot of different apps (especially note-taking apps & PDF apps) in iOS, the user interface of LiquidText feels a bit out-dated. I would want it to be more modern and sophisticated so it's more motivating. Also the price is bit expensive to recommend to anyone. I have a lot of friends who are still students and they tend to purcahse cheaper apps even though LiquidText is great.

An excellent app with most advantages but still some disadvantages

Pluspunten:

The functions I like most are the “excerpts ” and “ink links.” They help me easily gather and summarize all the topics and ideas of a book so that I won’t forget the precious chapter when I read the next one, which I was really annoyed about before use this app.

Minpunten:

I think the stability of this app is what still have a lot of space to improve. Sometimes when I am dragging an excerpt the app will broke and end the app mandatorily. Besides, I also hope I can change the default font size of excerpts so that I won’t have to change it manually in every new excerpt.

Game Changer for Research

Pluspunten:

I love the workspace feature, especially the multiple document feature. When I am working on a paper, I can store the same documents in a project and organize the excerpts in the same workspace. It feels like I can cut pieces out and rearrange them on the floor, but it is all electronic. This allows me the flexibility to organize information in a way that makes sense to me, without the hassle of physical copies.

Minpunten:

It would be nice to be able to rotate PDFs.

My review

Opmerkingen: I would use it even more if note taking for meetings were better implemented. I also would enjoy a second brain (like roam research) function.

Pluspunten:

Auto-excert and the possibility to build schemas.

Worth the annual subscription

Opmerkingen: Less paper to store or print = environmental considerations. I can move quickly from desktop to mobile device and continue with whatever I am doing immediately.

Pluspunten:

This has been a game-changer for research. Being able to annotate PDFs means less paper to store/recycle and mistakes are easily corrected. The workspace area is plenty big enough. I have recommended this to others in my class.

Minpunten:

Moving documents between folders is tedious.

Great tool needs working on synchronising

Great way to organise the ideas in the paper I am reading. Specially visually connecting the different ideas and concepts.

Crashes almost always at starting both on my m1 iMac and on my MacBook 15 inch

Perfect for literature review

Opmerkingen: I’ve recommended Liquidtext for many of my colleagues.

Pluspunten:

LiquidText makes reviewing an idea from multiple sources very easy and structured. Before LiquidText, it’s easy to become lost when you read a lot of journal articles.

Minpunten:

Design can be improved. Searching old documents sometimes not straightforward

New to the product and full of hope.

Opmerkingen: For now it is early in the learning curve, and I have not brought my paralegal in.

Pluspunten:

I do a lot of appellate work involving big files, I am looking forward to putting a full appeal record into LiquidText and using it from day one. I have not used it for those in process because it would double the work and not have the impact.

Minpunten:

The AI integration is weak, I also use CaseText and it does a much better job analyzing documents.

Two features which would make it better1. If I could add bookmarks in the outline of the document, then I would not need a different app to do so.2. Ability to search and go to specific page numbers.

It is a great apps, but need further modifications.

Opmerkingen: it is a great experience, but i use to lost my data one time. now, I am very cautious when I use it, but as a user, that problem should be processed by the developers.

Pluspunten:

process multiple documents, highly accessible and user-friendly. i can easily extract the information I need, integrate them together and relatively easy to check their source.

Minpunten:

the operation sometimes is not fluent. when search a word in a project, when delete a document.i feel the app functions are really great now , the rest is to optimize the GUI and make it more fluent as macOS

Document Review and Management Magic

Opmerkingen: Really, it's a dream come true. I didn't know I needed it until I found it. Now I can't work without it.

Pluspunten:

I love that I can organize, reference, and review hundreds of documents at once. I can organize ideas and memoranda, matching the law to the facts, and with links that immediately take me to the source document. It's magic! I love the ability to access my work across multiple devices!

Minpunten:

I have been worried a couple times that I had lost work. I didn't lose any work, but I thought I had before learning how to re-sync and recreate the table.
