The only parser that does email scraping the right way

Opmerkingen: It is still a new piece of software that is yet building its complete functionality. What I have found out however is that support is extremely approachable and competent, and that when they promise something (i.e. introducing a new feature) they keep their promise. As the product matures, I see myself needing less and less input from support, but I hope they will retain the same open and friendly approach as before.

Pluspunten:

Parsio is an "email first and foremost" type of parser, unlike other automations I have used that treat email like any other source of data, and subject it to the same restrictions as an ephemeral webhook call. What other email parsers do is queue all emails and once a message is processed, that's it - no chance to fix a mistake in the template, no chance to adapt if there is any error in the parsing procedure itself. If I didn't get the needed data the first time, it was lost forever. Parsio puts an end to that 'finality' and allows me to fix my templates at leisure. I no longer have to worry if an email that I am parsing will change its format. As soon as I see something is wrong with the parsed data, I can go back, analyze the problem, fix my scraping template and reprocess all failed messages. This is *so liberating*!

Minpunten:

As of the time of writing, Parsio itself has no ability to process the data it collects (e.g. format dates, numbers and currencies; perform conditional operations; add/reorder data within the csv/XML/JSON structure and so on) before passing it to other services. Perhaps those will come with time to make the users' job easier. The newly introduced functionality that allows parsing tables is still a bit rough around the edges.

Excellent functionality combined with ease of use and more importantly, reliability.

Pluspunten:

The overall ease of use and short time it took to set everything up. Email data extraction has got better over the years but many prove to be too unreliable in a production environment.

Minpunten:

I can't name any at the time or writing this.

Efficient Data Extraction

While there was a learning curve, especially during setup, the time saved in the long run more than made up for it. Pluspunten:

What I liked most about Parsio is its ability to automatically extract structured data from various document types with high accuracy. The AI-driven parser handles even complex documents like PDFs, emails, and handwritten notes seamlessly, saving a lot of time and reducing manual errors.

Minpunten:

The downside of Parsio is that its setup can be a bit complex initially, especially if you're working with highly customized data extraction requirements. Additionally, while it handles most common document types well, it may require some tweaking for less standard formats or when dealing with very large files.

Not the greatest

Opmerkingen: My overall experience with Parsio wasn't the greatest. I wasn't able to accomplish the task I was needing to get done.

Pluspunten:

I can't exactly pinpoint anything that I would say that I liked about Parsio.

Minpunten:

The directions on how to parse emails wasn't fully clear. I was trying to set up a parse to capture web URL links from inside emails and I tried setting up the parse but I wasn't able to get the results that I was looking for.

Great recognition capabilities

Pluspunten:

Parsio is even able to recognize scanned receipts with bad image quality. All fields were recognized perfectly. Also the API and overall software quality is very good.

Minpunten:

The inflexible payment plans. For example its not possible to book prepaid credits on top to the subscription plans.

Extraction power at your mailboxes

Opmerkingen: I wanted to automate reading my emails and extracting best possible data from various emails. Parsio made it easier. I added email templates in Parsio which automated the data extraction. Once the data was extracted, I use third party integration like Zapier to send data to my CRM.

Pluspunten:

1. Ability to parse attachments 2. Ability to extract data from emails without complex rules 3. User is kept uptodate with the development of the product via frequent communication

Minpunten:

1. UI is not top-notch. 2. It is difficult for beginner to extract data from tables

I love the friendly interface, and the possibility of making my data extraction easy, especially as a solopreneur I don't have much time to transfer hundreds of data in an excel file. It would take me an entire day. With this I can make my day free!

I would have loved a little video introduction, but I think that is like a cherry on the top of a cake

Additionally, while Parsio offers a wide range of extraction options, I felt that certain advanced features, such as handling CAPTCHA or solving complex login scenarios, could be further developed to enhance its capabilities. Nonetheless, these minor limitations do not outweigh the overall positive experience and effectiveness of Parsio in web data extraction.

Quickly becoming a vital cog in our system

Pluspunten:

I've been using a few email parser tools, but Parsio is one of the easiest to use right out of the box. The video documentation is also helpful.

Minpunten:

I'm waiting for the team to release their complete guide to the HARO extraction workflow (it was shared, but I'm still not sure how to filter & automate after the data is parsed).

Great features but could be easier to use

Opmerkingen: I'll keep using Parsio because of its data extraction performance, but I still feel like I could use more of the features if they were easier to understand.

Pluspunten:

I've been testing Parsio along with other OCR solutions to find an appropriate tool to include in our document management workflow. Parsio ended up being the most efficient when it comes to extract handwritten data from documents.

Minpunten:

Some settings are a bit unclear to the untrained eye, such as the table options. The post-processing also requires a steep learning curve that could be better explained.

Easy to use and made for developers. The API integration is well documented. The out-of-the-box models for AI extraction are quite nice.

Unprofessional customer support

Opmerkingen: Overall the tool itself isn't bad, but the [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is highly unethical and left me without $120 and without access to the tool or a refund. Very dissapointed! I usually only write good reviews but this time not.

Pluspunten:

I liked how easy it is to setup and use.

Minpunten:

The biggest con is the way I was treated as a customer, bought 2 Appsumo codes and forgot to redeem. 2 weeks after the deadline they ignored my messages, put me a goose chase emailing them only to eventually say that they can't help me because they "must follow Appsumo terms" which is basically a lie cause i know those terms.

Good tool

Pluspunten:

The best thing is a free trial thanks to which I could check if it suits my needs. I created templates and adjusted the features and now I know Parsio will help me with my work.

Minpunten:

Data export to Google Sheets is quite complicated and does not work properly sometimes

Good for data parsing!

Pluspunten:

It did exactly what I need it to do. I need to parse data from a PDF to convert it into an Excel sheet. This saved so much time where I would have have to manually input all the data in myself.

Minpunten:

It is kind of expensive for the monthly subscription. Depending on what you need it may be worth the money to save that time!

Good app for extrating data

Pluspunten:

I like how this app takes information that I configured in a template from emails and this info, finally is used as a input to my incident tool.

Minpunten:

I would like to automate task from taking data extrated from email and uses this info to create an Incidente in my Officetrack tool

Amazing tool for Gathering Data

Opmerkingen: Parsio is an amazing way to get data out of emails and into something useful.

Pluspunten:

Parsio is a great tool for collecting data from my email. I don't have to worry about collecting data myself and getting it into a spreadsheet so I can share it with my team. Parsio is very easy to set up and they have great customer service, so I never have to worry about the product not working properly.

Minpunten:

A few glitches here and there; missing a few key features like OCR, but they're working on it or on the way!

Very good OCR and super easy to use

Pluspunten:

The "mailbox" interface is very well designed and easy to use. Being able to upload documents via email is useful, the OCR works well, the methods for retrieving the parsed data also work really well. Finally, the customer support is fast and helpful.

Minpunten:

Even though it works well, the OCR is not perfect, but you should not expect it to be. I tried a document with a very complex structure and it missed a few fields, but it was impressive enough as it was.

Amazing solution to automations

Pluspunten:

I love that we can grab pieces of emails and parse them to automate responses.

Minpunten:

Haven't found any cons yet! The only thing I can think of is more videos to support other functionality and examples of use.
