Great for normal browsing but bad for web developers.

Opmerkingen: The overall experience is really great because Safari is optimized for macOS and arm-based chips. Although, I wish it had more features for web developers.

Pluspunten:

It's perfectly optimized for MacOS which means that it has a lot better performance than other browsers.

Minpunten:

I still it had a better inspection system so that I could use it as my testing browser for my web projects.

Positive Review for Safari

Opmerkingen: My overall experience with Safari is really positive. Safari is a reliable browser, especially for those who are already using Apple products.

Pluspunten:

The most I like about Safari is the Minimalist Design and the Privacy and Security with features like Intelligent Tracking Prevention to block trackers and protect user data.

Minpunten:

The least I like about Safari is the Compatibility Issues some pages and apps don't support Safari

I love anything Apple!

Sadly Safari doesn’t work as well as other web browsers I have used, but since it is the default on my iPad and IPhone, I don’t mind using it as my browser.

An Internet browser with strong points in security

Opmerkingen: Safari provides a simple yet secure Internet experience. Again, as security is important to me, I prefer this simplicity and peace of mind.

Pluspunten:

The security and privacy fences are all in the right places and overall good, at least when compared with Chrome or Edge. Third party cookie blocking comes by default preventing the user information to go to unintended parties. Extensions come only from trusted developers. This may be seen as a disadvantage, but to me is important to trust the software I use. Safari is also really good at preventing cross-site tracking.

Minpunten:

Sometimes the excessive security comes at a cost: personalized experiences and recommendations when shopping maybe affected. A minor inconvenience considering the level of security. Another major con is that it is Apple centric. If you live outside of the Apple ecosystem you cannot use it, as there there are no Windows or Linux versions.

Safari, great EDGE alternative.

Simple access to web browser features most used.

Minpunten:

Less default integration with other business software.

The best browser for macOS

Opmerkingen: Safari is a fantastic browser and I find it to have the lowest friction of any major browser.

Pluspunten:

Safari is lightning fast, integrated into the macOS ecosystem, and I can use it constantly without it draining my battery, unlike other browsers which I shall not mention.

Minpunten:

It seems that increasingly, websites are being designed and tested only on Chrome... this isn't necessarily Safari's fault but I do feel like we're back in the bad old days of the IE monopoly...Additionally, the extensions ecosystem is nowhere near as full as Chrome's, although that's a blessing in disguise as I don't trust the security/privacy model of most Chrome's extensions.

Great browser, intuitive and functional.

Occasionally I’ll encounter sites that are optimized for Google Chrome that have some display issues.

Great Browser with security features for MacOS Users

Opmerkingen: I have been using Macos for over 3 years and Safari is the browser with Mac since then which I have been using since then. My overall experience have been great. Safari is a great browser even better than Google Chrome or any other Browser. It has more security features than other browsers.

Pluspunten:

The best part about Safari is it is very fast. I have used other browsers also and I can tell that Safari has been the fastest browser among all the browsers.

Minpunten:

The only thing I do not like is that it is not available for for any other user not using Mac. I cannot use safari on my android and I also have a windows laptop where I cannot download Safari.

Safari is one of the most important browsers

The quintessential iOS browser

Opmerkingen: It is a very useful and essential browser for IOS, with an elegant interface that I use daily.

Pluspunten:

It is a very complete browser, it has many tools, it is very fast and consumes almost no memory, and it is also easy to use.

Minpunten:

The only problem I see is the little customization you have for the browser, even if it is a minimal detail.

Nothing it’s not that bad I like safari but one thing I don’t like is that you need to make the stuff offline

The interface is tidy which I believe makes it appealing to eyes as a browser.

This browser is extremely slow sometimes and not an ideal option when you have to meet a deadline.

J.L. Safari Review

Opmerkingen: Safari is a simplified version of Google or any other browser that's out there. The layout and organization for the website can be easily adjusted to suit my wants and needs.

Pluspunten:

The browser itself is integrated very well with Apple's ecosystem and its line of products and services.

Minpunten:

Despite being a browser, it is only limited to Apple devices. That means that Android and other devices besides Apple can't use the browser at all.

Old Tool, "New Values"

Opmerkingen: Safari seems to be a mid-tier browser for me at the moment, I hope Apple has something working with AI that can be integrated into their browser moving forward.

Pluspunten:

I have been a long-time Chrome user, and the longer I use it the more I realize that my privacy and history across the web are not really being held in a manner that I would expect a company to use. Being primarily a hardware company, I can really appreciate Apple's devotion to privacy moving forward.

Minpunten:

I would really like handoff to work better between devices. When I set down my iPhone and pick up my mac I think it really should be more intuitive regarding picking up in browsing or accessing my bookmarks/favorites.

A light and fast browser

Pluspunten:

Great browser for navigating the web fast and smoothly. It doesn't require a lot of your computer like other browsers and is easy to use.

Minpunten:

Its address bar only shows the first part of a link on a website. It would be more useful if the complete address was displayed.

Great for researching

I use safari for a research tool by searching up things I need to understand more about. It is very helpful and fast. I use both safari and chrome.

Minpunten:

Chrome and safari are run separately so everything isn't in one centralised place.

Safari: Good for introductions to the world wide web

Opmerkingen: Safari is decent when it comes to the speed and hard drive space. Not that great in regards to versatility, features, and security.

Pluspunten:

Safari's biggest advantage is that it comes prepackaged with all apple devices/products. Besides that, it's a fairly rudimentary browser that doesn't take up much space on a computer. Out of all the browsers out there, Safari is one of the fastest and lightest browsers to have on a computer and/or device, simply because it is simply built without many features or add ons. This makes it a good web browser, as well, for those who are brand new to surfing the internet.

Minpunten:

The features for this browser are limited. Privacy settings are minimal, security is best only on apple devices, and bookmarks management is only useful mostly in relation to iCloud. The minimal features of Safari, severely narrow its usability to just visiting different sites on the internet.

My review of safari

Opmerkingen: Safari is one of my main browsers. I made the switch from Bing to Safari and I don’t think I would ever turn back. Safari is just very user-friendly in nicely designed. I don’t think I would change very many things about it. Highly recommend using it.

Pluspunten:

It’s a really nice browser that integrates with the Google suite pretty well and saves your passwords so you don’t have to keep a thick book with all of them that you would constantly have to update. I think we all know how painful that can be.

Minpunten:

I wouldn’t say it’s almost as good as Google Chrome to me, but I think this is specific to me because I use the Google suite so much so naturally, Google Chrome would have a slight edge on safari in my opinion. Not necessarily a knock on safari. I think that’s just specific to me.

You don't need another browser if you are an iPhone user

Opmerkingen: With the implementation of the new updates, Safari has remained strong and I think that as the title says, if you are an iPhone user, you don't need another additional browser, as its features are more than necessary, keeping the functions the same or even better than others. And of course, managing in an easier way your accounts and passwords a little more securely thanks to its Face id.

Pluspunten:

The simplicity of the products Apple now offers in the browser makes Safari my default browser as an iPhone user. Because of its functions, the intuitive navigation, the easy-to-manage tabs, and bars, and also the management of my accounts and passwords of the pages I have visited, are protected by my face id. So Safari has positioned itself very strongly and I don't need to switch to another browser or install an additional adblocker for example. As a bonus, if you are a long-time Apple user, your bookmarks and bookmarks are being transferred thanks to iCloud, your cloud service.

Minpunten:

As it is a browser that I call an all-in-one, I have had no major complaints since the new updates arrived, since they made the system even more user-friendly and intuitive.

I love all of the tools safari has. The options are endless! I don’t have anything bad to say. I use safari daily, it comes in handy.
