Windows 10 is a unique and functional operating system

Opmerkingen: My overall experience is outstanding because Windows 10 was good enough for me and for my requirements. I got almost everything in this operating system that basically I need as a freelaner. So simple, good-looking, and a lot of helpful OS that made my computer using experience so enjoyable.

Pluspunten:

Windows 10 OS is very easy to use and so comfortable. Have used other OS but windows 10 is completely different and unique. It has pretty amazing features and functionality that helps me a lot. I really like its graphics and design even its dashboard and settings options. This OS also has some extra things that are awesome such as power saving, link up the android phones, personalization, gaming optimization etc.

I'm using windows 10 since 2017, during this time I've noticed a few weird things about Windows 10. 1. It takes a lot of updates which is really annoying. I have updated my windows 10 several times but I don't know why it starts again after few days. I turn off it but nothing happens, this OS should have a strong update off option. 2. Windows 10 is a bit heavy as a result normal PC can't control it smoothly. Windows 7 is enough for all kinds of PC but windows 10 is not. 3. I'm having time zone related problems on windows 10. Every time when I shut down my PC, all ok. But when I again turn on my PC, I can see my shut downtime is showing. For example, I've turned off my PC at 10 AM. Then I turn on my PC at 2 PM, but it not will show at 2 PM, it will show at 10 AM!

Windows 10 was an awesome OS

Opmerkingen: Windows 10 was just awesome, but the upgrade to Windows 11 was bad, as it turned the system to run slow even for a small application, when compared to Windows 10 with Windows 11, I would say Windows 10 was the best.

Pluspunten:

It's the best OS of all the time, quick and easy.

Minpunten:

I cannot say anything least about Windows 10, but the worst is the Windows 11 Upgrade. Switching back to the older version option should be available all the time, irrespective of 1 week.

Just keeps getting worse

Opmerkingen: keeps screwing up and sucks up a lot of time trying to fix it, many times refused to connect to internet. many problems with my programs that will just stop working all the time and have to be reinstalled. online "fix it" site directions NEVER seem to match my computer options. It just keeps screwing up and if I didn't have my good XP laptop to use I would not be in biz anymore.

Pluspunten:

nothing absolutely nothing at all, and it gets more hateful all the time

Minpunten:

can't see all colors on screen so cannot find check boxes or read things and and color is horrible, I have to use XP for all my photos, plus it lost programs

Windows 10 - the best between 8 and 11

Opmerkingen: I have been using windows 10 for a long time and I still use it (I am not fond of windows 11). I use both for work and free time.
I usually run office suite and internet browsers, rarely hangs and if there are issues is easy to find support on internet.
Reinstalling Windows 10 is easy, you need a USB key prepared by the Microsoft Media Creation Tool.

Pluspunten:

Windows 10 is still perhaps the most used operating systems, you can find a lot of programs, informations and support about it. If you have at last 8 Gb RAM memory, Windows 10 will run fine. The interface is clear, with menus and buttons well placed. File manager is easy to use and right click menus are complete. Windows update helps to keep your computer protected; windows defender too is a good antivirus. Remember to protect your account with strong password and always make a backup of important files (Windows 10 can make backups). Eventviewer logs every activity and may help you if you need to do troubleshooting. Task scheduler can organize task/activities without the need to be executed manually (e.g. you need to reboot your machine at a time you are away). Even if Windows 11 is the default Microsoft operating system for client, I highly recommend Windows 10 for those who have a few hardware resources.

There are some graphical and notice settings that I find quite annoying and I disable (news, activity visualization...)

Basically, Windows 10 OS is based on a graphical interface, so it becomes easy for me to operate this OS. Apart from this, Windows 10 has a better file system and memory management technique.

I face some issues with Windows 10, such as forced updates that can disrupt my work, and occasional system crashes. However, Microsoft has released several updates to address these issues, and now Windows 10 is a reliable and efficient operating system overall.

Win 10 is really user friendly. It is compatible with most, if not all, software and platforms outthere. I am able to use my work tools with minor to no complications at all.

Most user friendly and elegant operating system by Microsoft

Opmerkingen: Windows 10 comes with a novel UI with great features to help the user to perform and with enhanced security features and driver support, it feels good to use windows 10. But it feels slightly slower compared with windows 8.1. but with many great features such as Cortana virtual assistant, action center notification panel and multi tasking workspace, the disadvantages can be neglected.

Pluspunten:

I love the way Microsoft has added many requested features in this update such as dark theme and upgraded notification panel. One of the most appreciated feature is availability to use Cortana virtual assistant on Windows 10. Also newly updated Microsoft edge can compete with other browsers on the market. While working on windows 10, new task view feature can make your work quite easier for multi tasking users. And with 21H1 update, many bugs have been removed from the operating system. The new control panel can be stated as a great feature which resolved the issue of having several applications to control the device. And some extended customization is given in this new control panel. And I must mention the excellent virus protection given by the windows security features.

Minpunten:

Although windows 10 comes with many great features there are some features that are not. such as compatibility issues occurred while trying to work with some applications. and personally i felt slower performance compared with windows 8.1 on mid and lower range computers. And the some concerns were raised issues regarding data privacy in windows 10.

Opening windows 10

Opmerkingen: In general, it is a system that I like a lot, I am currently testing windows 11 and I see that if you have opted for a more personalized experience, with a simple, fast and elegant design, however, the option mentioned above is still missing, without it, I can say that windows 7 is one of the best microsoft operating systems, since although it is old, it still has compatibility with many softwares, without having great hardware requirements.

As I mentioned before, I liked the fact that Windows 10 included in its design what its users liked the most of Windows 7, which caused a quick adaptation to the software, I also like the installation tool that Microsoft provides for its installation, along with the property of being free for those who have a prior windows license. I like the customizations it allows for the appearance of the system and its remote connection compatibility. In general, I really like the operating system.

What I like least about windows 10 is that it should offer a quick alternative to improve its performance, on many occasions I have had to make several modifications manually to make it work efficiently on computers with somewhat obsolete hardware, but normal users They do not usually know how to do them, it would be easier if with a single button all the necessary modifications are made to optimize performance, especially the visual ones, since they are quite unnecessary.

It's an operating system that I still use. The upper version has been released, but it is the operating system that combines all the experience and capabilities of the past and gathers them under a single platform. A structure that can perform more operations with less resources has emerged. It has become a platform where data and requests from users are examined very well and more is offered. A structure that offers the same automatic service to everyone from professionals to home users. A structure that offers easy installation, minimum consumption resources and more.

It is over-consumed by some resource values and software. This seems to be the problem of the operating system, but it should be well analyzed. If the software used outside the operating system is not suitable for your hardware, you may experience problems.

Opmerkingen: My experience with this operating system is very good, and although there are other alternatives, even free ones, I still choose it for its ease of use and compatibility. Luckily, it improved a lot and is very superior compared to its predecessors.

It is an operating system that is used by most of the world's people, which gives you the possibility of having entire communities of people helping with problems or sharing tricks, while being very intuitive to use. Let's not forget that if most people with PC use it, it is because it is designed so that most of those people understand it. It is a great system and like any complex system it has its security flaws, which are fixed with its updates. The same ones that sometimes do not allow you to use the PC at the least indicated moment! in turn, although it can be used for free, it is with great limitations, while there are operating systems on the market with all the features to use. This system also does not skimp on resources, they need a PC powerful enough to run it correctly.

Windows 10 - The best version of Windows

Opmerkingen: Windows 10 is a great Operating System. Windows Security is quite enhanced in the version and protects the system from most of the viruses and malware. Speed of applications and overall performance is satisfactory. Recommended OS.

Windows 10 has come out well, especially due to the user interface. Have been using Windows 7 for quite some time and finally as support for Windows 7 was nearing its end, we had to migrate to Windows 10. Overall, its been a smooth transition. The user interface of Windows 10 is quite user friendly and interactive. Searching for apps and files is much easier. Performance of Windows 10 is better. Applications load quickly and bootup is quick too. Windows Update feature is better, much of the essential updates are installed automatically. So your system is always running a secured release of the OS.

Minpunten:

Some legacy software don't work anymore with windows 10. The problem is also seen with legacy hardware as new drivers are not made available by the OEMs. Do try the Compatibility Troubleshooter to fix common compatibility issues.

my review for windows 10

Opmerkingen: I can't compare it to other systems because I've only used Windows all my life
But compared to other versions, I can focus on the Cortana assistant feature, as well as the automatic recognition of the device, which saves me as a user a lot of time and complications compared to the other.

Pluspunten:

What I like about Windows 10 is the aesthetics of its interface, especially the icons, Start, colors, and consistency compared to previous versions. As for Cortana’s assistant on Windows F10, it is great and saved me a lot of time. The same thing I can say about Windows 10 definition of the device completely, so it does this task automatically without the need for assistance programs

You may not be able to download Windows 10 on your device if its technical specifications are weak, and even if you were able to download it, its performance will be slow compared to what is the case in medium-sized computers. Frequent and frequent updates to Windows 10 may be annoying to some and consume the Internet I can also say that some may find Windows 10 more complex than they used to in previous versions

I do have lots to be grateful for with this software since early 2000 I already had a first hand used on this. It was very awful then for me to do so since, I was not yet used to the software. Today, it is very unlikely if you do not know how to use windows 10. It is always an SOP to know such and go deeper into your knowledge on such. Learn and learn more in order for you to be apt to the latest software for the very basic office use. Indeed, I always use this software as my tool in my write ups and more. Thus, I am more than willing to be abreast of the latest development on this.

There are confusing programs within Windows 10 because it already is updated. There are certain interfaces that I learned that it is new and somehow confusing, however it just takes time to learn the process and procedure.

Worth upgrading from Windows 7

Opmerkingen: When Windows 10 came out i was mind blown of how they changed almost everything in the interface, the icons, the start menu, the start logo, the colors were different, and i even changed them to dark red just for fun, the security is top notch, i never had to worry about my data anymore, overall i'm happy i updated.

Pluspunten:

The whole UI overhaul, the ability to customize the colors and icons, the way it connects your Microsoft account with everything on your PC or laptop to make it your own, and most importantly the security, you have windows defender that literally detects everything that might harm your computer, and deletes it immediately.

Minpunten:

The constant updates, the pop up suddenly whatever you are doing, the fact that it can happen at anytime, without prior notice, and cuts you of whatever you are doing.

Its pre installed on all nee computers that arent Apple Macbooks, so even if you want to use a free alternative you are still paying for a windows license each new computer you buy

Microsoft is Back!

Opmerkingen: After being a Windows power user for several years, moving from technical support in the days of Windows 95, going into network support and eventually doing some web development, Windows 10 gave me the first Microsoft OS which I could leave running for hours, and not fear the system crashing. I've seen where it did have some stability issues, and if you want to run powerful software, ensure that you have some excess hard drive space for VRAM and a fair amount of RAM. Fortunately, RAM is cheap. I think that while Apple does a great job at memory management and some other things, the cost just isn't worth it. Windows 11 is out, but it's just not as smooth, and they removed some great features from Windows 10. I remain a fan of Windows 10. I just wish they fixed the RAM management

Most importantly, Microsoft Windows 10 works. Remember the days of random blue screens of death? They're gone. Windows 10 provides a stable interface in the PC ecosystem that you can feel comfortable to operate on.

I am not a fan of Windows' use of RAM. Managing memory has been a disturbing experience at times.

Windows 10 for 10 windows

12 years ago I had not had windows to the balcony of my apartment. Then, one day of the 2009 fall 3 guys entered into my apartment to install 10 windows. I had that time a PC with Windows Vista that was blocking many times a day. Then after some years Window 8 came and I was very happy. The programs were running very smooth and Windows 8 was an improvement. After 3 years with Windows 8 , Windows 10 was very good. When Windows 10 came this was like a revolution in IT. Running many programs at the same time was very easy.

I do not like that Windows 10 hotmail client can be breached very easy. I do not like that visiting a website that I believed to be safe, the Windows 10 was breached with major security threats. I do not like that I receive many junk emails that I can not trace to the sender asking for thousands of USD in bitcoin.

Windows 10 proves to still be a better version than Windows 11

Opmerkingen: Windows 10 is generally a very good operating system which contains many features and functions. Windows 10 has allowed me to setup my new laptop in a few easy steps using just my email address. Overall, Windows 10 is excellent!

Windows always requires a restart in order for updates to install. This has been an issue for me as I have to stop my work to restart my laptop. The system used to be slow on my previously laptop, but ever since I have gotten a new laptop with a faster processor, Windows 10 has never disappointed me.

My Overview of Windows 10

Opmerkingen: A lot of time and effort has gone into developing and refining Windows 10. From the moment you turn on your computer to the moment you launch an application, you will find the operating system easy to use.

Pluspunten:

Using Windows 10, I can easily find what I need, and its security features are top-notch; I feel safe using this OS. It includes advanced security features such as Windows Hello, which lets you sign in with a fingerprint or facial recognition. The built-in antivirus; (Windows Defender) protects you against malware and other threats.

Minpunten:

Although the operating system itself is amazing, it is not without its flaws. Those with older laptops may find it difficult to install and run Windows 10. I recommend using it on a PC with 4 GB of RAM or more, or it might be slower than usual. Updates sometimes mess up the computer, which can cause a massive delay in your work process.

Best operating system out there

I have been using windows 10 for more that 5 years and I have been loving it. The graphical design is very appealing and customisable. It is the most versatile operating system as you can use it for work/gaming or anything literally unlike other operating systems like macOS or linux. All the programs are made for windows but not all are available for linux and mac. It is quite fast, with a ton of features.

Although it is fast and light but still not macOS light. The constant updates may be good for performance but they are really annoying and having to restart the computer is always an inconvenience as I have to close all my work.Maybe bundle a couple of updates and send them together.

Windows 10 Review

Opmerkingen: Apart from the frequent Windows updates on my laptop, I like using it as its very fast during start up.

Pluspunten:

It has a very fast startup time as compared to my previous OS Windows 8. Has been easy to use on my, especially with the setting to support remote work. I like the games on Windows 10 and the face recognition option for authentication. I like the option to personalize my settings to either custom, light, or dark mode option, depending on the hours of the day.

Minpunten:

it's quite expensive as compared to Windows 8 here in Kenya. I was not able to upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10. So, I did have to format my platform to install the new OS. I hate the frequent update of Windows 10 on my laptop. Sometimes it can take up to 10 minutes, and this greatly affects my work output.
