Pluspunten:

Overzichtelijk en duidelijk. Simpel programma goed samen te laten werken met andere Adobe programmas

Minpunten:

Soms werken lijnen echt totaal niet zoals je wilt. Haal je functies door elkaar als je het even niet hebt gebruikt. En kunnen er fouten ontstaat door het implementeren van elementen uit losse bestanden.

Opmerkingen: It's been a super solid software program for me as a freelancer and corporate designer. I always look forward to see how AI can help me achieve designs faster and more cost effective.

Pluspunten:

I've been using Illustrator for over 20 years and still love working with this program. Adobe is always improving features and functionality to help designers produce more work and be more efficient.

Minpunten:

I don't have anything constructive to say about Illustrator.

Opmerkingen: Generally Illustrator is the best photo editing software after photoshop. Adobe Illustrator has a large market and you can easily find designers.

The ease of use. The free trial. The AI features. Vector images. Collaboration. Syncing projects into Adobe Creative Cloud. Can open multiple files. Animation. Gif making. Open mulitple image files. Export into many formats.

Minpunten:

May be Heavyweight on a small pc. You need Adobe CC license to do more.

What I like least about Adobe Illustrator is its steep learning curve, especially for beginners, and occasional performance lags when handling complex files, which can disrupt the creative workflow.

Adobe Illustrator made completing any design very enjoyable. I loved its many distinctive tools that make changing backgrounds, fixing all components in their proper place within the design very fast. I loved the ease of reviewing the design at any time, to verify the completion of the design with all its components according to the initial sketches. The wonderful thing is that this verification always creates new ideas that support the quality of the final design.

Minpunten:

Adobe Illustrator is flawless. I find it the best, the most capable of completing what is required and more creatively in the fastest time.

A brilliant creative tool that gives you unlimited potential

Opmerkingen: Overall I think Adobe Illustrator is a tool that allows for an unlimited degree of freedom when looking to design creative artworks. Illustrator has an unbelievable variety of tools and utilities to help designers really make great designs. It is hard to think of any way to improve the tool.

Pluspunten:

I like the creative freedom Illustrator gives me when working. I feel unrestricted when using Illustrator and using vectors give me so much flexibility to produce artwork I can then use in any size which is critical when working in a marketing agency environment. I particularly like the inclusion of new tools like the 'intertwine tool' which really help when creating more complex artworks.

Minpunten:

I sometimes find the software can be incredibly resource-intensive and doesn't handle raster files as well as I'd like. With this said, recent improvements to tools like the 'live trace' tool have helped a lot.

Illustrator is fond to provide all the tools a brand designer needs to create stunning vector graphics. It harmonizes well with other Adobe products, making it easy to incorporate designs into larger projects.

Minpunten:

The learning curve can be steep to master all the functionalities. The subscription model can be a drawback for some users.

One of the best visual editor

Opmerkingen: I have been using it to create graphics and editing photos. I am still learning how to use other features the software offers

Pluspunten:

Afobe illustrator has may brushes and pencils which can be easily customized to the way i want them to be when creating graphics. And i also use it to make cartoons

Minpunten:

The functionality of the software is abit slow on my core i3 hp laptop. I also had a hard time learning how to use it due to its many features

The UI is too dense and can be simplified and lacking robust vector painting features. Also, The subscription model is not great.

Adobe Illustrator The Swiss army Knife in my Graphic design Toolkit

Opmerkingen: I greatly enjoy using Adobe illustrator and I have been using it for the past 15 years. I would also say that the program integrates seamlessly with other Adobe Products and this makes my work as a graphic designer quite easy.

Pluspunten:

I like the fact that i can now be able t use AI directly inside adobe Illustrator.It also good that I can also be able to pick fonts directly from Images. I also enjoy the fact that I can now create 3D vectors easily

Minpunten:

I think that the only thing that i do not like about Illustrator is the lack of a multi page editor, where i can easily edit test on one page and it will update on other pages in the same documents Artboards

What ever work we created with in can be scaled up or down without losing quality, making it ideal for both small icons and large banners.

Cost is the one of the primary drawback for this tool. For beginners it is tool expensive to afford. Initially there was a plan to do one time purchase, later they made it as a subscription format which is made most of the individual users to think for an alternative tool.

Opmerkingen: With the recent genAI integration, Adobe Illustrator has become the industry standard & leader in Vector graphics design. We have renewed our subscription to explore this new world more.

Pluspunten:

Recently, Adobe integrated it's GenAI in Illustrator. We can now generate graphics using a simple text prompt to describe what we want. This eventually saves a ton of time. In the subscription, Adobe also provides us access to Adobe Fonts, Stock & the templates.

Minpunten:

The application size is quite large and it installs only when we free up certain amount of hard drive space. It is not supported on old hardware anymore.

Essential for graphic designers!

Pluspunten:

I exclusively use Ai for my freelance design business, as well as for my day job. So many great features, and pretty easy to pick up!

Minpunten:

If you don't also have Photoshop, I could see image editing being an issue. Also, the new toolbar-thing gets in the way ALL the time when I'm trying to edit things.

Nice tool to design and illustrate

Opmerkingen: It’s a nice tool for designing and it has all the tools that a graphic designer needs so I would 100% recommend it, even if it’s not cheap

The thing that I like most about Illustrator is the number of tools that you have. You have a tool for everything: you can create illustrations, shapes, edit photos, add text. I use it for Social Media posts but also for things I need to print, like flyers or magazines

Minpunten:

It’s actually a professional tool so not easy to use when you first begin. After a few tutorials and a few months of usage you actually start to get the hang of it

The all in one software for doing vector work.

Opmerkingen: We use Adobe Illustrator on a regular basis. We make diagrams, and symbols, to point out and emphasize our design (Architecture) during the course of a project. It always comes out crisp and at a high level with Adobe Illustrator.

Pluspunten:

The way it is set up and integrates in the whole Adobe eco system. It is relatively fast (if you are proficient) and accurate for our line of work.

Minpunten:

Not much to be honoest. If I were to point out anything, it would be features within the software that is not as easy to find. It could be better at illustating its own possibilities.

Opmerkingen: My overall experience with this product is great! It is great for designing!

Everything about it worked like a charm. The entire Adobe package is great and is constantly being updated.

Minpunten:

There is no affordable option to use this software. While competitors like Affinity Designer offer a much lower price, Adobe keeps their price up so high it is barely affordable. They also offer a monthly subscription which is not much better.

A great tool for any designer

Opmerkingen: Overall, illustrator is a great tool for any designer. I believe it's fairly easy for beginners to learn the basics, and then you can build up your skills from there.

Pluspunten:

I've been using Illustrator for years, and I always learn new tricks! Overall it's great, and you can do so much with it with great opportunities for continued learning. For me it feels extremely intuitive, and is my favourite of the Adobe suite. Nothing else really compares for me.

Minpunten:

Sometimes there is so much you are able to do, it ca become complicated. Occasionally it crashes for no reason.

Adobe Illustrator New File Format Support

Opmerkingen: all in all i love Adobe Illustrator, it is quite simple to use if you have a basic understanding of design software, and it alsoworks quite magnificently with other programmes from the adobe package

Pluspunten:

what i loved most, especially on the recent version of Adobe Illustrator is that it supports other newer file 3D file formats, such as glTF and USDA. These are compatible with Adobe Substance and other 3D apps.there is also a new improvement when it comes to working with linked files, the files open a lot faster now as compared to the older versions

Minpunten:

i have always had problem with the fact that to use this app you need to have a very good computer , with good memory and processing power, if you have a cheaper machine, the program will not run as smoothly as expected

The adobe illustrator is great when its effective but not fast or quick being productive.
